Three in a row? Pozzotively. No sting in this tale!
Ian Bolton played 287 times for Watford, bet you didn't know that!
My first back to back of the season, two on the counter should get it done.

I think we have got a chance given Watford are in such poor form.

Depends how you cut it.
Last six games, they're 20th (we're 3rd); last 10 games, they're 10th (we're 12th).
They've lost their last two home games (0-3 to Leicester and 2-3 to Derby), but before that they were WWDWDW at home.

But Birmingham were described as a form team after a couple of big wins when we turned up there winless and apparently reeking of desperation with no-hoper loanees in the side.
In this league and after a break I can boldly state that all of that means I have no idea what the score might be and can't attempt a prediction.

...is almost certainly the right answer.

Watford seems to be one of those places where we come away with nothing, one of our bogey teams.

Yeah, we managed to go 3 up and lose 4-3 on one occasion lost in the mists of time...Worthy4England wrote:A bit more than "seems to be"jaffka wrote:Watford seems to be one of those places where we come away with nothing, one of our bogey teams.

Could you get a more obscure match thread title, pozzotively don't think so. (Took me about three minutes to get the connection, even after I'd read Watford about a hundred times in the opening posts).
That's not a leopard!

Amazing how some teams have the hoodoo on others.Worthy4England wrote:A bit more than "seems to be"jaffka wrote:Watford seems to be one of those places where we come away with nothing, one of our bogey teams.

Yep, just discussing that at work today: thanks to a last-minute overhead kick this weekend, St Etienne haven't won a home Derby du Rhone against Lyon in 20 years.jaffka wrote:Amazing how some teams have the hoodoo on others.Worthy4England wrote:A bit more than "seems to be"jaffka wrote:Watford seems to be one of those places where we come away with nothing, one of our bogey teams.

I remember it well: October 93. Was just settling into second-year student digs. I was listening on the stereogram upstairs and we were in control, 3-0 up, so I njpped down to make my tea - beans on toast, I recall (even though I can't remember what I had for dinner last Friday). Settled down in front of Final Score and there it was: 4-3. It's the only time I've ever thrown a knife in anger; that said, there was nobody else around and I had the self-control to lob it into the washing-up bowl, where it caused a hole that necessitated replacement. Bastard Watford.William the White wrote:Yeah, we managed to go 3 up and lose 4-3 on one occasion lost in the mists of time...

And Aidy Boothroyd was in charge for Watford that day.Worthy4England wrote:A bit more than "seems to be"jaffka wrote:Watford seems to be one of those places where we come away with nothing, one of our bogey teams.

I predict a draw. I also predict that if we get the same results in the next 7 games as the last 7, we'll be knocking on the door of the play off places in January.l
So. That's the kiss of death then.
