New Manager Syndrome (Tykes Boxing Day)
Just seen the News that Barnsley have appointed Danny Wilson as new manager, he will play his first home game (allbeit for the 2nd time) against the trotters on Boxing day.
That makes it 3 New managers in the last 3 Away games, this must be some kind of record ?
I think we have had more than our fare share of first games for new managers over the years, personally i think it gives the home team an advantage as the players/supports and obviously the new manager are up for it. Seems like the footballing Gods are against us !
Any opinions ?

Is this to be considered a match thread? Can I slag it off?

Not till you sort out that Charlton one.LeverEnd wrote:Is this to be considered a match thread? Can I slag it off?
Then it's yours to do as you will.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

I am struggling to think which is worse Barnsley's defence which I had put so much hope in or our attack.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

On another point, any ideas how many tickets have been sold ? The away end holds 7,500 its only about 1 1/2 hours away so on Boxing day, I'm expecting a reasonable sized following, I've got my ticket

Really on a day when the whole country is p*ss*d and there isno public transport, it could be one of our worst away followings of the season.

Got worse at Wigan.

Re: New Manager Syndrome (Tykes Boxing Day)
You should of seen the bloke me, HMX and Devon White was stood next to at Watford, Devon White believes we deserve a tax rebate following spebndi9ng 90 minutes with this bloke who was just really angry "come on Bolton" he shouted continually but he was getting really angry, like how you would shout at your dog if he was munching somebodies leg off. However the worse one was the bloke I stood next to at Wigan, he kept going on about his school in Wigan and some council estate called Norley Hall . If I ever meet Bobo he will probably come across quite clam in comparison. It's clear my calming presence has been missing since I left Horwich!

I'm going to watch this, then catch up on the Ashes.

Crikey, imagine that as a double header though?
You'd be straight off to Dignitas.
