As a Tory I thought you'd be in favour of that sort of thing. There is money to be made and they spotted a viable business opportunity?

I do in that respect, but not the way they hold clubs to ransom.

Isn't that what good business is? Making the most money you can? I mean I get your point but I feel agents are a symptom rather than a cause.

Football clubs are to blame for not collectively shutting them out. But then that is the free market and competition for you.

Agents are not solely to blame, are mess is down to how poorly we've been run.

It's nothing short of criminal the state we find ourselves in!

Might just be me but I find the prospect of any future tax liabilities rather strange in all this mess, a bit like the rate of growth of the 'debt'.
Something just is not adding up.

It isn't just you is it? If that is truly the case I find it even more odd.

I suspect it isn't the case and is inaccurate reporting.

Oh f*ck no.

This is like waiting for Gary Megson, Steve Bruce or Graeme Souness to win the race that I frankly never wanted to see end.

That'll put it firmly in Yet Another Day territory, three days prior to Panic Fanny Day.

...and anyway, put what fxcking money down. Wasn't it firmly reported that Eddie was prepared to sell for a pound. I can put a pound down. Anybody can put a pound down. It's obviously not all resting on somebody putting the fxcking money down is it?
