Southend's was (is?) a similarly bad view, but the worst-view gong has to go to the Baseball Ground

Only went once - to see our glorious cup run ended. Sat in the upper tier level with the 18 yard line and had a perfectly unfettered view of all four goals, right there in front of me. :(

And anyway, did you never go to Belle Vue, Donny?

Same game (92ish), I think. I was in the scratching-shed terrace. No end, just a corner, with a fence between away and home fans so dense it was practically opaque; add a low roof and you could see a fifth of f*ck-all up the other end.

Oh and for the record, Marco Gabbiadini's a tw*t.

I can't remember the view at the Baseball Ground being as bad as the QPR view, although I was never in the official away end.

(Spotty's view has just improved no end 8) )

Staying over in West London on 27th and trying to find an excuse to stay over on the 28th too. So who is up for this one?

New year new hope, guarantee numbers will be a lot different for the trip to the Den (especially given it could be moved to a Tuesday if we beat Cardiff) although I am sure Bobo and a few of the forums daredevils will turn up. Cockney walk at the ready.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Looking forward to this... Peculiarly... Mind I'm only coming across London. Much kudos to those who schlep down from God's country for what could be a midweek massacre.

The view in the terrace for that cup game at the Baseball ground was shocking - but Valley parade the same season (that narrow long shed along the side of the pitch) was worse for me.

And Gabbiadini was defo a tw*t :D

Aye, although I used to like the away *end* at Valley Parade - nice low roof and corrugated-iron back wall made for a nice noisemaker.

Looking forward to this, I bet QPR's bench is more twitchy than ours!

We go into this game expecting to get turned over - they will go into it knowing that anything less than a comprehensive win is borderline embarrassing. So I agree with you completely there.

I'm pretty sure they'll only be bothered about getting the 3 points and not the margin of victory....

I think other clubs are genuinely puzzled by our awful form. There's no way they'll consider us whipping boys. They'll expect to win though, but would against anyone at home.
