Visit of the Orangemen from Dublin....

Post by TANGODANCER » Sun Mar 23, 2014 5:01 pm

Okay, relax. Dub lin is Gaelic for Blackpool and the Orangemen ( okay, Tangerines then) are from Blackpool.....and they had a wake yesterday-well a funeral march actually- in protest against the Oyston chap, so it's all a bit Irish really.....

Anyway, it's on Tuesday, just two days away. Will Zat be pumped up for another surprise goal (who was most surprised, the fans or Zat?). Will Dougie stick with the deadly duo up front, or will Beckford get the shirt ahead of Mason? How up for this are we after Saturday...views..??

I have some visitors to pick up from the airport. That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it even if they cancel

Just seen the video of the goals ... & the penalty.

b-hell, that penalty was a harsh decision. Let alone deciding he was the last man .... and the striker had a clear goal opportunity. The ref very positively did NOT initially give it, so all down to the linesman. Odd decision.

Our defence stood off very badly for both goals as well.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

And share it with me. I can think of better things to do on my birthday than having to go and watch BWFC! Maybe one to remember...COYWM

It's my daughter's 30th birthday as well - she gets back from a business trip to China on Tuesday morning but is determined to stay awake and go to the game. It had better be an exciting one

It'll be my dog's birthday too. Six years she'll be, and although she's never been to a game (feckin stewards)...she's been remarkably consistent at making jubilant howls and giving paw to passing strangers (when I've prompted her) after each and every Bolton win.

[I have unashamedly lied there. It was her birthday last Friday].

We are getting a Premiership ref for this one in the shape of Mark Clattenburg.

I'll bet you an internet pint he'll have the Juke for persistent fouling.....just from sheer force of habit, and Zat Knight just to even up the home advantage.
