So, off that list ... & adding Riley's loan, Andrew's release ... the 3 out, 3 is clearly bollox. There's 6 unused places, plus those two not to mention whoever else exits.
So we can recruit maybe another 10 !! Sorted.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

bobes... nobody ever said that if three left, three more would come in. I'm sure you're skilled enough at smallprint reading to notice nuance.

there is a difference to the statements: "I'd like to bring in three more players - but three would have to go or not play for that to happen - and I want to buy players that fit the style and ethos we are trying to build here." and "if three players leave then three more will arrive." 3 out 3 in IS bollox - you're right - cos Dougie didn't say that..

I'd be surprised if we didn't bring another striker in soonish - though - position we are in - it's perfectly possible that it will be after the season starts...

also - the club's spending power and the increase in it depends quite heavily on the stature of the players leaving - in terms of wages saved and fee attracted. Your list of Riley and Andrews doesn't add up to Rooney and Suarez... (unless QPR are interested, that is!)

... and, ignoring that, Alex Baptste is in that list, so that another one we can add.
