There's Elland darkness, there's the sulfurous pit - LEEDS

So we face managerless Leeds on Saturday.

Pumped up to impress or shambolic and rudderless? (Them not us!)

Oh feck, didn't know they'd sacked Hockaday. Redfearn has been kicking us in the teeth ever since we annoyed his dad. 0-2 loss

I don't know what does & doesn't constitute "fit & proper" for owning a football club but whatever Massimo Cellino is should be included in the very definition of "not fit & proper".
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Just announced, and I realised that there was no match thread so I plucked a quote from my extensive memorised knowledge of Shakespeare (King Lear) and thought I'd start one.
I bet some of you losers claim I googled it as well. Pah!

One of the most glorious moments of my life as a Wanderer. Sincil Bank, Feb 85, 2-0 down away at Lincoln. Neil 'I'd rather go on the dole than re-sign for Bolton' picks up the ball on the wing right in front of us only to get absolutely clattered by Tony Caldwell. A pole-axed Redfearn looks up at Caldwell in a wtf manner. Caldwell, playing to the audience, no doubt, calls him a "fecking c*nt". :pissed:

500 tickets sold. Pay on the gate for an extra £5. So that's £39 for two clubs struggling at the foot of the championship? fecking hell!

I wouldn't be going even if they weren't charging a ridiculous sum of money. I'm out tomorrow evening and expect to be a little worse for wear on Saturday. :pissed:

Enjoy the game Dan!

Why do we nearly always play a team the match after their manager has been sacked rather than being the catalyst to his sacking? I remember once an opposition manager being sacked after we had hammered them but can't remember who it was.
I feel reborn !!!! No more confussion

We got Mick McCarthy sacked from Sunderland and I have a sneaking feeling we may have also been the final straw for him at Wolves.

Didn't we get something like 4 managers sacked one season? I seem to recall Alan Ball at Citeh being one of them. I could be completely wrong on this!

I think you're right. I recall a good number being sacked after losing to us .... which, tbh, I thought was a little rude.

I always feel like we play teams after they've just appointed a new manager and we get beat by the honeymoon period. Notable ones recently include Billy Davies at Forest (12/13) and Uwe Rosler at Wigan.
I miss Zat Knight already.

Think we've had at least 1 West Ham manager - can't remember which, but he was playing "The West Ham Way" - which meant they were on the verge of relegation.

Pardew? Maybe after the 4-0 at the 'bok?

Would of fancied a narrow defeat if hockadsy had made it to the weekend. As it is now i predict a total bumming. Another nail in dougouts coffin.

I'm there. On a freebie. If your drinking somewhere post match stick it in here and if I want away from leeds fans im with after they batter us I'll be there!

I was a nightmare last season, had breakfast, followed by a lunch of 8 pints of heineken. Did not end attractively.

Nah, they got dicked by local rivals WBA

We did end Pardew's Ammers career though
