Be happy to hear what the match lads say, but despite all the pressure we put on, the commentators sounded really panic-stricken every time they did get near our box?

Who was the Newcastle manager when we beat them 5-1? Always seems like a nice chap though.

Sorry, but you're making yourself look more ridiculous with each comment now. Get a grip!jetsetwilly wrote:After the game Yes. Not during. Perhaps the apathy of you lot sums up why we are stuck with this clown

Well if previous score lines affect some ones chances of getting the job, we are fecked then.Armchair Wanderer wrote:Who was the Newcastle manager when we beat them 5-1? Always seems like a nice chap though.
That tonking at Reading will see that Duggie never works in football again.

Okay. I'm sold. Do you have either of their phone numbers?TKIZ! wrote:Hughton has worked with small and no budgets before though with Birmingham. Nobby has said that in football everyone has good things to say about him.EverSoYouri wrote:TKIZ! wrote:O'Driscoll, Hughton or Steve Clarke for me
Not sure about Clarke - seems to lack personality. O'Driscoll? Maybe - anybody know what went wrong at Bristol City (I mean why the results went so crap)?
Always liked Hughton - couldn't turn it round at Norwich, though...spent a few bob there, too.
Not sure what went wrong for O'Driscoll at Bristol but he had Doncaster and Forest playing attractive attacking football/whilst those teams had decent defences also

I don't. I had a look in the Yellow Pages but there was nothing under 'Potential next Bolton Manager'EverSoYouri wrote:Okay. I'm sold. Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

It's always easier to condone this kind of thing when you are an arm chair fan. When you pay good money you expect better. I can't think of any other club's fans who would be so blase. Terrible

Love that argument. You didn't spend 39 quid + travel to watch an away game( I think) so you're wrong.jetsetwilly wrote:It's always easier to condone this kind of thing when you are an arm chair fan. You're coming across a bit of a cock here. I'm neither an armchair fan nor blase. I don't see that it's the crime of the century that Beckford has acknowledged fans that still seem to like him.jetsetwilly wrote:It's always easier to condone this kind of thing when you are an arm chair fan. There's plenty of justified reasons to want the fecker to piss off. Let's not make stuff up.
