Twitter or other forums as well? You can usually tell if the odds on him going are being mentioned. I've found nothing on the oddschecker
Facebook and Twitter. Official Bolton page on Facebook is talking about the rumours. I don't think that is run by the club though.

This was mid game. Do you not understand the game. Jesus. You applaud at the end

From what I've read/heard, he applauded when he came on as a substitute (which makes sense since the game stops for that substitution to happen) and then during the game, the Leeds fans chanted 'Beckford, give us a wave', he gave them a wave.

Should be hanged, drawn and quartered for that!!

I can't blame the lad for giving them a wave.
The Leeds lot love him whereas the Bolton fans call him a fcking useless wanker.

Anyway, whatevs. His applause today made no difference to the fact we lost again so who cares.

He gave thumbs up. Didn't wave. At the end of the game he thumped his bwfc badge but the damage was done. Don't think any of those in attendance shared the pathetic view of here. I'm gobsmacked. We used to have passionate fans

So you expect players to feel no attachment to a team they played a lot of games for and just pretend that he didn't play and score goals for them (he scored the goal that got them promoted to the Championship)?

To use your method of questioning, when did football fans become so selfish?

Interesting, sir. Very interesting. We can but hope now at this stage

Oh, give it a rest. Just because you're wound so tightly, doesn't mean the rest of us aren't passionate.

Thinking like a 5 year old is pathetic. Our club is in the mire, the quick sand enveloping us and you're worried about a no mark waving at some people. Get a fecking grip

I don't think Freedman will be sacked. I think he's here till January and then they will only do it if we are in the bottom three and 6 or 7 points adrift.

We're already bottom three and while not 6 or 7 points adrift, we're a full 11 points behind Wolves.

Which frankly, is reason enough to pump the useless sack of shite.

Marc Iles - 'Dougie Freedman has not been sacked by #bwfc and judging by his post-match comments, looks like club are prepared to brave it.'

Seems like he won't be.

I think, son, you need to understand the difference between being a passionate fan and bursting into fcuking tears every time we lose, as you seem to be doing.

I bet you were in floods at Stoke.

You'd fit in well if you were a West Ham fan.

fecking hell. Go and have a beer and chillax!! If the worst thing you have to worry about is Beckford giving the thumbs up to the opposition fans, then I suggest that you don't understand the club's current predicament. Grow up ffs!

You're going to have to start quoting people as it's difficult to follow who it is you're arguing with.

Or better yet, realise that you've made your point and find another drum to bang.
