Isn't being a VIP, with one of our players, an oxymoron??
Ah, but being a Wanker isn't.

While this sort of jolly isn't good PR, its significance in the short term hangs on results v Wednesday and Rotherham, don't you think?

Absolutely. ... & a run of24 straight wins wwould have us praising the Great Man from the rafters.

Don't go fetching that ladder any time soon though.

Craig Davies by a mile has been our best player but I voted for Tierney.

I've voted Tierney too.. I implore everyone to do so, just to see how embarrassed the poor lad will be, plus how embarrassed the club will be when presenting it to him

They'd better play well and beat Wednesday.

Bit of a brain dead thing to do this.

Spearing will get the 5th of a 5-1 win. A dentist chair celebration will ensue.

Spearing will score an own-goal for Wednesday's 5th in a 5-1 defeat.

A dentist's chair inquisition - of the sort seen in Marathon Man - will ensue.

The performance next week is key. If they look a tad heavy and disinterested then the ibiza trip was a shocker. If they come back regenerated then great. But after their summer break i don't recall any of em looking too great on the opening day. Freedman off on a jolly too. ED standing by him. All adds to the conspiracy that we are trying to go down or get wound up

the conspiracy is the £100m development thing needs setting up then kia come in to takeover .

or summat.

dont think "getting wound up" now will help considering eddie d. owns the club.

like has already been said in the past by others, why would he wind them up when it owes him all that money ?

he owes the money to himself.

I don't understand it at all, but the fact is the club is in huge debt (to whoever). They are spending 100m on this new development. The chairman has not been sacked. Nobody seems to be in a panic. Those who run the club seem happy for us to get relegated this year.

Logic does not come into it. There has to be some hidden agenda.

There is no way ED would lose his life fortune and not care

This isn't meant to be a dig, but I don't get it when people start talking about the debt saying, 'I don't understand it at all but...' Then drawing nuts or pessimistic conclusions.

It's a combination of a very rich man (by our standards) writing off a bit of money for his football team combined with a bit of tax planning. He's not that rich by football standards though, so has clearly given up on writing off any more of his fortune. Club is now left as far as possible to its own devices. That's not the same as hoping to be relegated, though they're clearly only hoping for promotion rather than planning for it.
