We doubled out point tally.

AND had a shot on target, from Spearing in the 61st minute - I remember it well.

AND kept Moxey on the pitch although I'm not sure how

A point. Is that 2 now?

First half was utter gabage. Moxey is appaling. Whole defence is too soft, Lose far too many ariel battles.

Spearing is awful.

Second half didnt start much better but as soon as Pratley and Beckford came we seemed to have more energy.

Lonergan saved our blushes a few times today, Good performance.

I can see a spark of something there in what little spells of team play we actually had... Not good enough overall. We still back off and back off and back off. it's too easy for other teams to play around us.

Pretty grim.

That was awful from us and the only reason we got a point is because they fluffed their chances. Dreadful performance. We're going down if Freedman stays.

We're going down even if Freedman goes. This shower of ladies couldn't play strip poker never mind soccer. No heart, no skill, no pride, no ambition. I think Phil should fine the lot for not doing the job they're being paid to do. Or turn the stadium into a skate park for the local kids. 8)

From the sounds of it the situation is alot more dire then it was this time last season, you will never stay up if you can't score goals and you will never score goals if you refuse to shoot.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Love that the whole game took about half a page!
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Those who went should get their money back. Diabolical. No heart, no balls, no method and about as threatening as Mary Poppins (no, not even that). As for skill? If this is what Dougie is getting paid to teach them, get shut and get a local lad in. A manager from Bolton Combination would do better than that. This isn't Bolton Wanderers or anything resembling them. One shot that didn't even threaten the goalie and a Keystone Cops display by the defence. They couldn't play pass the parcel without dropping it. Utter, utter rubbish.

The food festival in Ludlow was fckg brilliant. I recommend it to all of you.

Literally not a single thing positive to say about the game.
I did however sit behind the man with the dodgy carpet coat that the TW massif sat behind in Crewe. What I thought to be a beaver on the back of his coat turned out to be a lion.

That young man has NEVER, ever had a beaver on his back. Believe me.

I've just heard Freedman on the radio....what a load of absolute rubbish he speaks. Anyway, he said we played very well when we had the ball....he forgot to mention by the sounds of it we didn't have the ball very often!!

Do you think we are going worse (from the first game at Watford) to this game, LeverEnd? (serious question). If so, surely he has now got to
go

Outplayed by Wednesday to go alongside being outplayed by Watford, Brighton, Boro, Forest, Bury and Crewe.

48 more points look a long, long way away.

I thought he wanted us to learn to play without the ball. Or am I misquoting him ?

Forgot to mention Moxey. Everytime he touched the ball he was off balance. The absolute minimum I expect from a Bolton player is the ability to stay upright. Palace did well to stay out of the Conference with him and Butterfield on eithrr flank.

Today was worse in a way as this was a very average team and we were at home. Watford are much better and are going to beat a lot of teams at theirs. At Watford we started badly but got better and had a reasonable spell 2nd half. Here we looked like once things weren't going for us there was only one team going to win it and we were lucky they couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo.
Is this the interview you enjoyed so much?

But we are going to win one. He said so. And it might be Tuesday.

Should I book a day off?

It's OK ... "we're going to win a game of football. He doesn't know when, but we WILL win a game of football sooner or later".

What a fckg moron.

Stop your whining. Bunch of blouses.

We're still on course to beat last season's record winless streak - that's got to be worth something.

I may even go to the match when it happens...well, OK, I won't, but the fact that I mentioned it must say something.
