I don't recall Davo running out of the Allianz during his goal celebration. Did he include a stein of Pilsner and a huddle with some buxom bar wenches as part of his celebration?

Re: Site For Sale
Someone just told me TW was looking for a new home. I can't believe it's been nearly 10 years since I joined. I doff my cap to you Keveh, that's quite a shift.
I run a forum hosting company nowadays, PlushForums. I haven't read the whole thread but it seems like you're already in the capable hands of Mar. But if you need to make alternative arrangements, I can probably import and host the forum if you like.

Re: Site For Sale
I've not posted in a while, but just popped on and saw this.
I work for a hosting provider as the infrastructure manager with carry with it 12 years experience, so essentially I can host the site gratis. No subscriptions, no faffing, no other bollocks. Just straight up reliable hosting. I've run music related forums for several years too without any issues (got out of that a long time ago though, too much drama).
Whilst I'll be able to host the site and do the maintenance etc, it'd be good if someone else would be able to take the reigns of the day-to-day operations. General direction of the site and all of that stuff. With me working sometimes up to 48 hour weeks and two kids, aside from technical up-keep I wouldn't be available all of the time to keep things in order on the forum itself.
Basically my idea is that we'd do that with zero cosmetic changes (aside from honouring any pre-existing advertising agreements before dumping ads), and as many technical/backend improvements as I see fit (caching, optimisation and the like).
Keveh, give me a shout if that appeals and I'll sort it out for you as soon as I can.
Edit: As 50sQuiff mentioned, that is if you still need help with this. Best of luck to whomever takes on the mantle!

I for one think you are all smashing. The offers of assistance have all been great so hopefully The Wanderer can continue for years to come.
