There's little wrong with Dervitte, to be fair.TKIZ! wrote:Really?Prufrock wrote:He'd be in the top 1 if it were me !Worthy4England wrote:As much stick as D-Pratz gets, I'm not sure he'd be in the top two or three to get binned...
Garvan
Trotter
Moxey
Dervite
Money better spent bringing in a striker
.... & Trotter would be above Moxey and Garvan in my list. In fact, he'd be above Syd Farrimond even today.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Lennon announced on Offish site
Every interview on TV & radio today Neil Lennon has been excellent a breath of fresh air....
No bullshit, extremely professional with a definite plan on how to improve us, with a couple of excellent backroom staff in Mjallby & Parker....he's chomping at the bit to get us out of our current mess.
Again I don't get excited that often about BWFC, but TBH I feel that we are quite fortunate to get him on board. I have absolutely no doubt that he'll turn things around.

Re: Lennon announced on Offish site
After just listening to GMR for the last hour, I'm once again excited about the next game, I had basically given up under Dougie as it had become dull, staid, predicable and basically shit !! Lennon talks the talk and i reckon he will walk the walk. What we have got to bear in mind, he is doing this not just for the club, but for himself, he doesnt want to manage Bolton for the next 10 years, hes wants to eventually manage one of the top 4 premier league teams, therefore he HAS to succeed with us for his own sake as well as ours. I think he talks a lot of sense and wont take no shit, i quite liked the bit were he said he wont let the players wear hats in training cos you don't wear them on match day !!!

Completely agree. That phone-in on GMR was impressive. He talked sense, seemed really positive about it (not forced) and was honest with some of his answers, such as the hotel stays, letting the u21s train with the first team, having toi many centre mids and about the frustration suffered by the fans.Peter Thompson wrote:Every interview on TV & radio today Neil Lennon has been excellent a breath of fresh air....

I liked the bit where he said that he will play a formation that suits the players we've got
DF tried so hard to get us playing like an Italian team - but we never had the players to do it

Re: Lennon announced on Offish site
I doubt he'll be binning Dervite, he's been decent enough having just come into a terrible team. Also agree with Pru about Trotter, there are signs that once fit he could be a decent player. Not first choice, but a good Championship squad man.

I suppose life's easier when things are going well, but could you even imagine DF doing that ?YtarmyYtarmy wrote:Celtic press conference https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjYQqmX ... e=youtu.be" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I like him, he started to say "we" already. Not Bolton but "we".
