Wednesday week (she loved me). Sheffield Wednesday (A) 17/1

One must never pass up the opportunity to squeeze Undertones songs into a match thread. Much better than that boring old fart from Warwickshire. :)

So, any away point a goodun, or are all three required here?

I'll settle for a point, missen.

I'd settle for a point (and think it would be a goodun), but reckon we need three if we're harbouring any aspirations of a late charge. Can't see it myself, unless Bob can get us some new signings..

First time I went to Hillsborough we were 5-0 down at half time. Jimmy Jimmy Phillips had a mare. 8)

I thought there was at least one person I could rely on to use the Rioja formula.

Last time I was at Hillsborough it were freezing cold and I missed a Curcic cracker as I was still procuring my bovril :(

I can't see us bothering the play-offs, so I'm not getting carried away with must wins etc. A draw will do for me from this one..

I did consider 'The clamorous owls, that nightly hoot and wonder', but the Bard of Londonderry, Feargal Sharkey, won instead.

this game feels like a distraction from the Liverpool one? could do with some new blood to stoke a bit of interest in it...

First time I went to Hillsborough was, I think, the only cup tie Rioch's Bolton lost against a higher-tier team.

I say "first time", I've not been back. F*ck 'em.

Haha. I've been to Bramhall Lane once. We got a 5-0 New Years Eve dicking, which would have been 6-0 had Simon Farnworth not saved a pengy. Never been back. As you say, f*ck 'em. Yorkshire nice people. All strong int th'arm and thick int th'ead. :)

I'm going, with an evening in Leeds to follow. First time since the days of Curcic in 96. They're playing well, a point would be good.

Yes, I'm fully aware as to the difference, thanks. I was simply sharing a different story (If that's ok with you?!)
