Three at the back is OUT because we simply do not have the personnel.

Our loans-out list looks like a Who's Who of Championship(ish) level football. Spearing, Medo, Baptiste, Andrews (maybe not)... Are we financially that fecked that we have to have so many off the books at any one time...!!!!

The defence needs protection from the Midfielders. It's OK to loan in Slavchev & Rochina and othersuch luxurious imports if the back four is Thuram-Stam-Baresi-Maldini. But it's fecking not. These lads on loan won't be getting a game any time soon because creative types give the ball away trying to slot through the cute pass. It's their game to sometimes relinquish possession. We're so soft at the back we can't afford that. Get some cloggers in Midfield. Flood it with Bastards who like to tackle and will take the hits and give it back. Bannon might be a cultured little fecker, but he's no use when the grit is called for. Danns can be - he's a clogger by definition, but he's going backwards at the minute and is easily dispossessed when he gets the ball clogged up between his feet, which often give the impression he has clogs on. Vela seems to be running on empty at the minute - too much expectation his his young shoulders at present and he's sinking.

Tough job for Lennon sorting this mess out. He must have been leaned on to loan out Spearing and Medo because Injuries happen and they pile up. We're so light in centre mid it's horrid.

4-3-2-1

Janko (needs must) - Wheater - Dervite (needs must) - Moxey (needs must)
Vela - Danns - Bannon
Clough--------Feeney
------LeFondre

Is that a goer, is that the same as against Forest?? Bench: Heskey, Eidur, Hall + Kidz/luxurious loans
You missed (needs must) next to Wheater - but other than that...I might be tempted to play Janko in front of Vela - it doesn't looks appetizing whichever way round you look at it.

We are due a result and I mean a result.

6-3 to the Whites.

6-4 would be a little more accurate.

Gudjohnsen to play apparently , maybe resting clough and le fondre. Might help having A couple of experienced heads on the pitch . Gudjohnsen has looked sharper and fitter each time he's featured . Tonight's game feels like a bin job to some degree whereas Brighton is almost a must win .

Dampened enthusiasm for this, expecting another defeat.

Fingers crossed that we get something.

If here is anything to go by, the weather- particularly the strong wind- could have an effect on the game. Personally, I'd be quite happy if a Smoggy defender banana'd one over his own head into their net. As it is, I'm staying ever-hopeful and predicting a surprise win by a decent margin for us. I've also entered tonight's Health Lottery. Que sera....

I can't see us taking another four goal pasting. This one will be a bit tighter. We'll either lose by the odd goal, or we'll snatch a point.

Our 'Players Out' list reads like a fecking who's who!!!!

Fromt' th'offish;

Bolton will be without Andrew Lonergan and Tim Ream, who both left the field on a stretcher during the weekend’s defeat at The City Ground.

The pair have been cleared of serious injury, though they won’t be risked for the trip to Teesside.

Craig Davies will also miss out, as he continues his recovery from a hamstring complaint, with Adam Bogdan (ankle), Darren Pratley (hamstring), Mark Davies, Max Clayton (both knee) and Marc Tierney (leg) all definitely out.

Liam Trotter remains touch and go with a thigh complaint.

Matt Mills is suspended following his two yellow cards and subsequent sending off at Nottingham Forest.

No mention of McNaughton in that lot, I note.
May the bridges I burn light your way

Fairly certain it'll be something along the lines of 6-0 to them.

Was just thinking exactly the same. If we play like we did on Sat, Ducking out of headers, challenges, no pressure no closing down backing away and just overall being soft shoytes!! We will get smashed and it isn't going to be pretty. Hope lennon had some choice words for every single player after that last shambles.

We'll lose this and I imagine quite badly.

I'm going to go for 6 - 0 to Middlesbrough.

Trotter is "touch and go" (I've never seen him do fcking touch and go but there we have it). In light of this information, which is clearly a ruse to get them thinking we have a weakened team, would you like to reassess this ridhicolooos scoreline, on the high level chance that he makes the starting gun?
