Season Tickets 15/16 Who Is and Who Isn't?
Just had the blurb through re; next season's season ticket. To be honest I'm personally now looking forward to just getting this season out of the way, seeing Lenny hopefully make some wholesale changes during the summer, particularly in defence, and seeing where next season takes us. As such I'll just let my ST auto renew
Just wondering though, are there many out there that have decided that they'll probably pick their games instead? Conversely, are there many lapsed STH's that, having been brassed off under Freedman have regained sufficient faith to buy into a full season's worth for next season? And how many people are hedging their bets?

I'm in, or will be. Year 20, I think.

I'm probably going to pick my games as a current ST holder. This is entirely driven by the fact work is getting in the way again and I've not been able to go as much as I'd have liked (or not) this season. I don't expect this to change next season.

Re: Season Tickets 15/16 Who Is and Who Isn't?
I've been thinking about binning it off this week, but reckon I'd miss it if I didn't go.
Tuesday night was a personal eye opener into my attitude - I was freezing, it was shit and so I text the missus to see if she'd pick me up after about 25 mins of the game (she told me to fvck off) - I did't want to be there. Never felt like that and I just think that's my general attitude to football now. Nothing to do with BWFC.
Went downstairs, got a pie and a pint and watched the first half in the concourse. If there was an early match bus heading off, I'd have gone home.
No atmosphere, no enjoyment, but then if I fvcked it off, I'd only be adding to the problem

I haven't had a season ticket since 06/07.
I've been to most of the home games this season, but I don't like the commitment of staying in one seat all year through. I prefer trying different places, different stands and whilst attendances are this low, I can keep doing it for now.

What is the replacement bus service like from Bolton train station?
I am in for Millwall but considering my options on travel.

Probably depends where you live?

From Bolton to Horwich parkway, from Preston takes 50 mins.
Are the buses adequate, enough space for demand?

Can't see there being huge changes to the back 4 except hopefully a right back. There's only mills out of contract and I'd expect him to stay.Bruce Rioja wrote:Just had the blurb through re; next season's season ticket. If I was up north I'd probably be looking forward to next season. Whether work and family would make a season ticket viable is another matter .

I asked a mate who was on it after Brighton and he said there was, but now he's just told me he left 15 minutes early to avoid the rush. I'll be jumping on the replacement bus service after Millwall too, so I hope it's good. Then there's also the Millwall animals to be wary of ...jaffka wrote:From Bolton to Horwich parkway, from Preston takes 50 mins.

I haven't had a season ticket since the Megson/Coyle changeover campaign. Since then I've picked and chosen my matches here and there. Can't ever see that situation changing because I've too many other things going on in life! Can't be helped!

The only time I'd even consider getting a season ticket anytime in the next few years is if we got promoted and sell-outs were pretty much nailed-on. As it is, we're not gonna sell out for a long time at this rate.Dr Hotdog wrote:I haven't had a season ticket since the Megson/Coyle changeover campaign. I've been and gone and went and done it in a moment of unjustified optimism for the 15th time. There's no fool like an old f.......

Haven't since Megson, not worth it now, I'd miss too many games.
Re: Season Tickets 15/16 Who Is and Who Isn't?
I've been to approximately 12 home matches this season, most with my 6 year old son. Unfortunately he is asleep before 8pm on school nights so we wouldn't be able to go to most of the midweek games. I'm hoping to get one for us both for the 2016/17 season.
Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.
