These be her very Cs, her Us and her Ts - Rovers Away 11/3

Post by Little Green Man » Fri Mar 06, 2015 8:54 pm

With the treatment room looking like a Red Cross field hospital, Wednesday's game might well see our 40th individual appearance of this Championship season. Will it be Giles Coke, Paddy McCarthy, the lesser-spotted Rocinha or, God forbid, our 4th choice goalkeeper, Ross Fitzsimons? Place your bets!

Shakespeare might imply that, I couldn't possibly comment.

I'd be delighted with a point.

I'm for the three. When did we ever fear the Ewood Ewoks? We're talking like they're some big-time side like...er, Lytham St Annes or somebody. 3-0 to us.

Hopefully they will suffer a post fa cup crash in the manner we did. They may still have a few players out but then we are missing a couple too .

Given our away form they can probably have a dip and still beat us, sadly.

Low scoring draw strikes me as likely . We've tightened up. They may be tired but don't really play a high energy game , keep a shape and hit it long and being at home and a derby the crowd will lift them . Won't be a pretty game !

Lonners, Cravies and Heskey all available, according to NL in the BN.
What I’m looking for is hopefully getting some players back. Craig Davies played an hour on Friday in a bounce game against Burnley so he’s back in the squad which is a timely boost. We are hoping Emile will be fit for the game as well.

Lonners should be fit and back for tomorrow. He was suffering a few headaches last week but he was okay on Friday. You can’t take any chances with a head injury. You just don’t know with these things. Thankfully we have given him enough time now and he’s recovered fully.

Apparently Coke played in a 'bounce game' as well. I'd have fed the 4ucker some Mentos first. What the blithering bollocks is a bounce game? :conf:

No, it probably won't. All jokes aside, I'm seeing it as a tough one. Be nice if instead of just settling for safety the lads had a real run at seeing how high we can finish, and if we come out of this one well, no reason we can't do that.

Behind-closed-doors friendly. He's used the term before, when we were checking out Heskey I think.
