On this showing, he's beyond awful. Slow, bad first touch and given the ball away 6 times so far. His heads gone down.

So Coke's gone from not even being in the squad to playing the 2nd half! Not a bad day for him...

That's a shame... Lennon's kept him on for now though.

That's his tenth yellow of the Championship season in 35 games. He didn't get a single one for the first 13 games, 10 of which were under Freedman's charge.

Away and....the Wallers get a quick corner. Williams and......cleared short before Alf wins a free kick. We go but they do well and Eidur gets stopped before commentators have another chat. And the Wallers send a Wigan special over our bar. Alf robbed, the Boss trying for us a throw, now we get one. More chat as the Wallers have a sally to our box. Is it their bad play or our good? Anyway, ........ray of sunshine over the Mac before .......to and fro then Feney goes and......a shot from Coke goes wide after a quick break. Alf loses out and they get a throw. And.....they get a throw. We do well and set off. Walker makes a good run and squeezes one just wide.

Coke couldn't be selected as there were 5 loanees in the starting team. Once Janko was replaced by Walker he became eligible fo the bench.

He was playing further up midfield though under Freedman whereas Lennon has put him in a holding, more scrappy, role. Still think having Pratley alongside him calmed him down a lot as well.

Walker figuring well and then makes a poor cross. Feeney, Vela, and.....to and fro, ping and pong, some chat and......Macarthy whacking em out. They sally and...talk of penalties, that becomes a corner that becomes a throw as Ream heads it out. Now a goal kick us and .....mic men have another chat then....Eidur gets a free kick as Taylor Fletcher makes was for Ricardo Fuller. Need to keep him quiet.

It's that "5 loanees in the match squad" thing again. Janko out meant he could bring another one in ... Coke in this case.

Two players on the bench clearly don't really figure in Lenin's plans. Walker preferred to Hall is not a god sign for Hall.

Coke out >> bench >> on .... rather than throwing the Mattress on says he's not impressed.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Yeah it's becoming clear who Lennon is only keeping around because of injuries, and choosing youth and loan players over our own shows how far they've fallen in his estimation.

Surprising that, what with the defensive rock that is Zat Knight making his debut.

He's doing more for us now then he ever did in our actual team!
