Yep, same. Sky bastards. Pub will have to do instead.

Re: Cardiff away
They've just leant ken jones to Bournemouth which is a bonus in terms of this game though should there be much riding on our final game of the season we may be in for a battering . Seems to be some serious financial rebalancing going on after tossing money at a sinking ship in the prem .

I'll be there as always despite having to get two buses and two trains.

I was there. Massive following, wasn't it a free kick from somewhere near the halfway line by a substitute in about the 85th minute that pissed on our chips?
I remember getting pissed with an on duty welsh policeman. He allowed me to take a beer into the paddock to drink as long as I brought ( & bought!), him one as well. Happy days, when policing was policing. I remember leaving the ground and it all kicking off around where the coaches were parked, driving out of Cardiff and some cnut smashing the windscreen on our coach with a brick. After a long conflab with the law, and a complete lack of health and safety in those days, we were allowed to drive on. FECKIN FREEZIN'! Someone had to chip the drivers hands off the wheel at Moorgate station when we returned.
Made up for it all a few days later though......
Nearly forgot. I nicked a skateboard and some porn mags from a service station on the way home.
Re: Cardiff away
Certainly partly to blame. I have been working very hard actually at a telecoms company in Crowthorne(famous for Broadmoor) as an "accounts administrator", I have also been working hard doing my exams and have managed to pass L3 of AAT . When not doing either of those I'm either watching Bolton or getting p**sed although I will admit I have been an infrequent poster on another Bolton forum. Still trying to move back to the north west but since starting to drink in January I have really enjoyed myself, can't believe I missed out on it for so long.malcd1 wrote:Dan has discovered beer.Bruce Rioja wrote:Wey hey. Bit of a mean thread title, what with Ten thousand Golden Daffodils..and all that available. " For I am Welsh you know! (Henry V) "If you can mock a leek, you can eat a leek".(Fluellen, Henry V)..

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".
