Charlton at ... (yawn)... home.
Token thread title to hurry the season along.
Back to winning ways? They have been impressive under new manager Guy Luzon.
Eagles will have a point to prove as well.

PS If anyone thinks a more poetic title will change our fortunes I'll happily oblige.

Of course, Tuesday evening's events may finally secure our Championship status for next season.

LeverEnd has really let himself down with this one, he had a glorious opportunity to use expletives.Burnden Paddock wrote:Jaffka is usually yer man for that. Something about arses.LeverEnd wrote:PS If anyone thinks a more poetic title will change our fortunes I'll happily oblige.
Anyway, we will win!

Charlton, Brentford, Bournemouth, Birmingham. Just four games left before the dearth of club football has us moaning and longing for next season. With this in mind I intend to look forward to all four as if they were the Cup Final. Craig Davies is out for the rest of it with a Grade 2 strain (whatever that is) and N.L. doesn't want to risk him (whether for keeping or selling is a bit uncertain right now) and Emil is making noises about pulling his armchair up to the Bolton fireside because he likes it here. Mills Bogdan and Pratley have to send answers on a postcard asap and Eidur is just rumour right now. That's how the B.N has it to press. A nice little run for the last four would be very nice. Not sure we'll get it, but we can hope...COME ON YOU WHITES

Ah, fair enough. A "time will tell" scenario then?Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Along with Oguchi "Gooch" Onyewu, whom I seem to remember erstwhile TW poster H. Pedersen wantd Sam to sign half a century ago!Bruce Rioja wrote:I've just discovered that Tal Ben Haim's now at Charlton.

Re: Charlton at ... (yawn)... home.
Apparently you can upgrade your tickets tonight:
Not quite sure what that means, but I hope it makes people happy.Confirmation of supporters being able to upgrade their season tickets free of charge for midweek league clash
Season ticket holders wishing to upgrade their tickets for Wanderers' Sky Bet Championship clash with Charlton Athletic on Tuesday evening can do so free of charge.
For example, those in possession of a junior season ticket can upgrade this to an adult for no additional cost.
To take advantage, supporters must visit Bolton Central's ticket hall prior to kick-off to pick up a paper ticket.
For more information please phone Bolton Central on 0844 871 2932.

So, let me get this right, if you're a child you get to sit in regular seat whilst pretending to be an adult. Bostin' upgrade, that!

Re: Charlton at ... (yawn)... home.
Since it's a school night there will likely be less kids at the match tonight, so an adult can use a kids season ticket for free rather than there being an empty seat. It's a decent offer to be fair.

Re: Charlton at ... (yawn)... home.
With Saturday in mind and Craig Davies off the radar I can see his up-front problems. I think I might have put either Heskey or Gudjohnsen up with Alf in place of Rochina or Feeney, for starters, but I'll bow to the opinion of the match attenders. We'll soon see what we'll see.
