I was out in the sun - am blaming heat stroke! I was convinced he signed for cardiff!
still never happy with a draw, though... I could go as far as to say it doesn't make me cross or totally ruin the weekend - but to say I'd be HAPPY with a draw?? nahhh... you're clearly more easily pleased - which is a great place to be!
anyway - Lonergan HAS let one in, so ner!

Said I wouldn't let you down! I reckon there's gonna be another decent signing before the windows shuts! I'm also backing that Trotter will be on his way.....Sadly a loan!

Will it involve a few fools? The odd horse maybe?plymouth wanderer wrote:Said I wouldn't let you down! I reckon there's gonna be another decent signing before the windows shuts! I'm also backing that Trotter will be on his way.....Sadly a loan!
I worry for any team that decides to take Trotter off our hands.

He'll probably go to Wiggin, everyone else has. Which reminds me, both of the goals against them on Saturday came from balls played between tge centre backs. Apparently Morgan wasn't exactly outstanding. Perhaps a near miss for us in losing out on hin.

Wonder if Millwall might be interested in taking Trotter back. Not that his wage will be much compared to some, or even most, of the squad.

If I recall correctly he wasn't getting game time there when Dougie 'swooped'.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Wonder if Millwall might be interested in taking Trotter back. Not that his wage will be much compared to some, or even most, of the squad.
The lack of a stampede for clubs to take him suggests that his form is known to those ITK. I don't see what he'd offer even down the leagues. Shirley the most foolish of Freedman's foolish signings ... he was even a loaned initially !! At least Garvan was able to be sent back.
I fear we are to see him on our register for a while yet. Hopefully not on the pitch. (Though he may well get a game tomorrow ....assuming we aren't planning long progress in the League Cup).
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Aye, heaven forbid he might set-up the winner like he did for Clough against Wigan in the FA Cup last winter.bobo the clown wrote:If I recall correctly he wasn't getting game time there when Dougie 'swooped'.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Wonder if Millwall might be interested in taking Trotter back. I still think there has to be a player there somewhere. At times he was outstanding in this league for Millwall. Seemingly not consistently, but we've barely even seen a flash of decency yet let alone "unplayable" as described here.bobo the clown wrote:If I recall correctly he wasn't getting game time there when Dougie 'swooped'.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Wonder if Millwall might be interested in taking Trotter back. Perhaps it is a mental thing, or maybe injuries have caught up with him. Certainly his carelessness nearly threw a point away on Saturday. Whilst he's here I hope Lennon can restore him because he seemingly is getting the best out of what were considered other lost causes. At least if he finds a little form there is a chance to recoup some cash possibly.

I don't care how dire our straits there was no need for that.

Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!
Enoch's Millwall mate wasn't a fan, said he would just drift mentally and let people go, which seems about right. He also suggested he had some talent and could do good things but we're only seeing the bad stuff.
I can't see any way back for him with us. One long range goal and a nice pass for Clough hardly cancels out his debit column. Lennon will have to keep trying with him just in case we need him, but I sincerely hope we don't.

QPR still interested in Ream.
Gone a bit quiet on Pisano though.

2mill and Ream can go. As long as we get to spend that money.
Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!
Talksport said QPR were back in for Ream with 2 million this morning.
Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!
Would I be right in saying only Peter Reid and Cahill have ever done much since leaving the club?
Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!
McAteer, Stubbs and Thompson all did OK
And that Icelandic mon
And Jensen
But aye, on the whole, for all the wailing that goes on, you don't generally see players we sell go on to be sold at a profit
Jon Walters, too, but that happens

Prince, Derik, Wheater, Dervite + kids should be alright, no?throwawayboltonian wrote:I'm not sure who gives the nod on accepting an offer, Lennon or Gartside, but if I was Lennon I'd start lining up potential signings for a replacement centre half and at least another full back. At least depending on how much we'll get to spend.

2m for Ream? I'll drive him myself even though I'm over 8,000 km from you lot!
