According to the BWFC website:

Doesn't say if public access.

Full Kit I hope.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Just don't start going on to Moxey about his debut and comparing him to Gerald Cid like you did on the radio.Bijou Bob wrote:Cheers Malc, I'll just have to see if they throw me out then!

Re: 2015/16 pre-season
Does anybody think Lennon will try for three at the back this pre season?
He tried and failed mid season but may give it another go with a full pre season to push it on the lads.

I'm not sure he will try in pre-season but he certainly likes that formation. If he gets the right personnel, I think he will try again.ChrisC wrote:Does anybody think Lennon will try for three at the back this pre season?

Re: 2015/16 pre-season
Nice to see the "reserves" are being brought up in the true BWFC tradition of conceding goals in the last minute, whether with 3 at the back or not. If any of them make it to the first team they will slot right in - no bother.malcd1 wrote:I'm not sure he will try in pre-season but he certainly likes that formation. can some of you more informed football peeps post your heart and head formations for the start of next season? im well out of date with who's who and who's not... feel free to incl TBS (to be signed) players...
Re: 2015/16 pre-season
If Lennon decides to try 352 again..
-------------------------Amos
-----------Dervite------Osede-------Ream
Feeney-------Pratters---------Vela----------Ryan Taylor
---------------------- Mavies
---------------Clough---------Clayton
Things will change though because I can see another coming in up top to add strength. Madine and Heskey to be bit part players.
Midfield could be anything with Spearing.. Medo.. Danns to rotate.

Re: 2015/16 pre-season
A reminder: here's the 26-man squad in Austria, with added Ream (at Gold Cup) and Wheater (injury rehab), in a vaguely squad-position order.
Ben Amos
Ross Fitzsimons
Hayden White
Oscar Threlkeld
David Wheater
Tim Ream
Derik Osede
Dorian Dervite
Niall Maher
Quade Taylor
Andy Kellett
Dean Moxey
Medo Kamara
Neil Danns
Darren Pratley
Jay Spearing
Liam Trotter
Filip Twardzik
Josh Vela
Mark Davies
Tom Walker
Liam Feeney
Rob Hall
Max Clayton
Zach Clough
Stephen Dobbie
Emile Heskey
Gary Madine
Everything is based on large assumptions, but here goes:
3-5-2
...........Madine...Clough.........
..................Mavies..................
Kellett...Pratley...Vela...Feeney
......Ream..Wheater..Osede......
..................Amos..................
(potential positional alternatives: Dervite in the back three, Moxey on the left, Heskey up top, Clayton for Mavies or up top
Trouble with this system – apart from the fact we played it for the last four months of the season and got fecked like a crack whore – is that it requires good wingbacks. I've high hopes for Kellett (not least as otherwise it's Moxey) and I think Feeney does the best he can, but you wouldn't say either is among the division's leading lights in that position. I'm sure Lennon will want a real right-(wing)back, who can defend as well as overlap. Which might allow us to play...
4-2-3-1
...our best formation last season, until ALF's arrival prompted a rejig.
.............Madine............
Clayton..Clough..Feeney
.........Mavies.....Vela......
Kellett-Ream-Wheater-???
...............Amos..............
Sacrifices Pratley's engine, but the youthful vigour of the "3" should help flood the midfield - in which case it's all about the transition to attack once we gain possession. Oh and we haven't got a right-back, unless we sign one, or Hayden White or Oscar Threlkeld impress in pre-season, or we continue to jam Vela there.
I haven't even mentioned Medo or Spearing, which is perhaps telling. I'm sure if we could lay off their wages we would. It's not like we're short of central midfielders, as Lennon famously noted before recruiting five more (Bannan, Twardzik, Slavchev, Coke and Lussey).
