They're charging Rotherham £32 for tickets central in the stand and £27 at the sides. There's approx. 800 tickets in the central areas and 400 at the side.

I've had to pod out £33 for your place. Bit steep. #Twenty'sPlenty.

Should've boycotted. They're taking advantage there. Disgraceful pricing.

Seriously? I'd have told us to feck right off. Twenty is indeed absolutely plenty. I'm guessing though that this'll have been agreed between the clubs and that we can look forward to having our ears pinned back for a similar amount when we turn up at your place.

All be it with a 3rd of the following.

If we'd have charges that much in say October, they'd have told us to fvck right off

Until the loyal Bolton fans start paying the going rate for this division, we need to fleece the away fans

We give tickets away to the home support

It's the only way - I know a few supporters group relied heavily on community tickets in less-affluent areas at a tenner a head..

club talked about scrapping it and have done so especially for the Wolves game

75 tickets at £10.00 per head = £750.00 (plus whatever goes behind the bar)

0 tickets at £28.00 per head = £0

I think the club once responded to something similar by explaining that reducing the ticket cost means you still have a fixed, stewarding or policing cost (at best, sometimes selling more cheap tickets means these go up) and for most matches we barely break even. The bar etc is irrelevant in terms of the match-day breakeven/loss/profit apparently.

Sell more at £10 you might even find we make an even bigger loss on the match than selling no expensive ones, due to increased stewarding and police costs.

That's up top them, but alienating parents fro taking their kids isn't a good move..

Perhaps it would be more beneficial to have an empty stadium, with less staff costs, policing costs and overheads, but it doesn't do anybody any good does it?

Under usual circumstances yes. But we can only have what there is money for, and that includes subsidised tickets.

Perhaps it'd be better to call it a day and accept the town can't/won't pay for a team in Division 2

My three tickets cost me about 500 quid a season

69 games for 500 quid

Anyway, home pricing is what it is

Lets not be worrying about what we charge away fans

It should be as much as we can get away with

I disagree, I find it counter-productive. As far as I'm aware the ticket prices for away fans are agreed between the clubs. We agree to charge them £35 and their supporters tell us to get fecked - likewise us with the reverse fixture.

You understand wrong

Home clubs can charge what they want

They have to charge away fans the same as home, though

There is a new initiative allowing home clubs to have a few home only promos per season
