I took his comments to mean that he is happy that Pratley didn't want to come off and wanted to carry on, ie showing determination and commitment to the cause.

Or Vela? Just 'cos Lennon brought the big lump on for 10 minutes doesn't mean he'll trust him from the off.boltonboris wrote:Aye, but hes vitally important to how Lennon wants to play - Can;t help bu think it'll be Trotter taking his place..BWFC_Insane wrote:I like Prats but central midfield is hardly a thin areaLeverEnd wrote:SSN now reporting Pratley out for 'weeks'.

Sure, and I agree on the attitude front. I just don't think he should have been allowed to play on. None of us, nor the medical team, will know whether it was made worse or not by playing on. Lennon's comments suggested that even if it was, it was right to 'sacrifice himself'. I disagree when it's day one, he's not played competitively for months snd we had a decent midfielder on the bench.jaffka wrote:I took his comments to mean that he is happy that Pratley didn't want to come off and wanted to carry on, ie showing determination and commitment to the cause.
He felt it but had it strapped up at half time and played on which is exactly what I want. He was hurt but played through the pain barrier.
He has maybe sacrificed himself for a week or two but he played through the pain and played very well.

I think Pratley had a better second half than first.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Then, if players are injured at half time and our manager pushes them back out there to show they are up for it, we can expect more of the same.
He felt able to carry on
It turns out the strain was greater than realised
It happens
Can we get that nice lady doctor that nobody at Chelsea wants to sort all this out?

Commented as much in the HT analysis - thought he was reverting to the pre NL version. Must have been some strong drugs in his teajaffka wrote:I think Pratley had a better second half than first.

OK guys. Here's something to consider. The thread dedicated to the Chelsea doctor on WanderersWays is an absolute sickener.
Please, members of The Wanderer, do not go down that weary, grisly path. Don't be those guys.

I'm not gonna copy and paste some of the comments from the thread because it's too much.

That's pretty tame for Wanderersways to be fair.
Also the pictures above? Both pretty women but not the same person.

Some of those comments are an eye opener, best left in the tap room of wanderers forums.
