Isn't it a parody of itself? Like a Simpsons episode mocking itself from the inside?

Oh dear. Anyhow, I like Jose but he's made a right fool of himself here. The safety of players trumps worries about results and he should respect that.

they had a woman physio on t'radio - the first to break into the premier league - and she said that her club had a set of agreed signals that a player/manager would make if he feigned injury so as to waste time in a game so as not to alarm the physio team, however bad it looked...

we all know it goes on - but saying it out loud and describing it as a well-planned and pre-meditated club policy that involves everyone sounded a bit shocking!

Is it the third roll, or the fourth punch of the ground?
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Some "professionalism" is amazing seen in the cold light of day. Review was famed for it of course and I guess it's always happened to a degree but it's far more prevalent than we realise. More obvious now of course with cameras at every angle at all big games.

Being coached in fouling was an eye opener to me.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

Yeah but you can't sneak up on me. Not with that car-and-shoes combo.
