We're not on our own, plenty of others gone out already but its fecking irratating given we've controlled the game.

Oops.

Have to concentrate on the FA Cup then !!

Still, Freedman lost too.

What do you think our coaching is at the moment? "Gary, aim for the bar"?

Twas written with tongue firmly in cheek.

over 30 shots at home and no goals isn't a nice stat tho.

This is what happens when you have no goalscorer in the side. Desperately need one, otherwise this could become the norm

Played well. Really well. Until it got to shooting or heading it into the net. That part, was pretty diabolical.

I don't think we should be playing without any wingers at home against Burton. And Dobbie came on and instantly made us worse.

Wonder if Gary Madine knows which way round to hold his phone when recording a TV screen? Yorkshire knobber.

We lost. Oh well. At least we made chances. I've seen us be far worse in this cup.

Bright point from tonight is Mark Davies. Absolutely superb performance and ran the game. Looked fit too. #curse

Just back.. Only got ourselves to blame. Could have been 4 or 5 first half. If we don't find out shooting boots soon we could be in big trouble.

Disappointed with Danns in these first two games.

Not convinced by Holding.. Lost almost every header tonight.

Vela quiet

Front lot did plenty but someone needs to put the ball away!

Clough still doesn't look match fit but was better than the Derby game.

Davies is looking good and ran the show.

Agree with all of that. Especially the Dobbie bit, Jesus!
If we are still doing that in a few games we have a big problem though. We need to fill that 9 shirt with someone who knows where the net is.
Madine was dominant with his back to goal but blew our best 2 chances and missed with a couple of headers that should've been on target.
Defence was good again and we bossed midfield. Vela played well. Davies tired but started really well.
I thought Holding looked ok. Was surprised to see him start but looks confident and càlm.

Enjoyable enough game just lacked that cutting edge/final ball.

Disagree with Chris re Holding. A very assured performance I thought. So much so, can we flog Ream if there's a genuine offer on the table and buy a striker?

Holding looked fine to me too. Bit to learn still but certainly near and tidy enough. Both full backs played well again.

Moxey is the gamble not the young centre backs imo. Might need the competition to stay sharp.

Moxey and Wilson both played well tonight and whilst we need cover there, based on tonight's evidence a striker has to be priority

a striker priority perhaps?

maybe getting one in for long term aims would be better than our current loan short termism that's seen us miss out on jutkiewicz and le fondre.

after all were only making saleable assets for other clubs with our striker policy at present. it's not like we'll be able to sell any of our current crop
