Whatever team we pick would look weak in the centre really, it's probably our achilles' heel.
We have at our disposal, if not on that pitch, Spearing, Medo, Vela & Danns who are very able to play DM. I AM dekuberately ignoring the Wardrobe.

That's not an Achilles Heel. At least it shouldn't be.
I disagree. They're not bad players but we need a greater physical presence in the middle if we are to compete in my opinion*. None of those named above provide us with that.

*Please note that in saying this, I am not advocating a return for Trotter.

Bit of posession by them but we recover and....Walker, and....he overhits it for a goal kick. Mark Davies ignores Silva and puts in a dolly scuffer shot. Danns has a battle and they get a quick free but a break gets a "poor" pass comment for Clough. Throw them and a quick chorus of Halleluja greets a Bury goal.....do we care? Corner us and.....Mark Davies corner clears and....Forest break via Antonio but Amos Handles it. All square so far.

Madine gets a shot away to no avail then Antonio handles and gives us a free kick. Goalie grabs the effort. More wallop about Bury from mic man, then Antonio gets a head knock and goes to ground. Half an hour gone and the new Siulva Wellingtons haven't had much wear yet.
Six hours without a goal, the man tells us. Thanks for that.

Antonio has a sally but Wilson gets us a free as Antonio attacks his shirt. Amos clears our lines and Dervite wallops an aimless rocket forward. Free kick us and.....now a throw and....we get a free for a push in the back on Clough. Silva fancies it and.....and....straight at the keeper. Panic attack in the commentary area as a wasp visits. Commentators not over impressed with the ref again as he ignores an appeal. And....Dervite has a mazy run and beats three. Nothing comes of it. Come on....feed the Wellington.....Clough goes and...he has a pooor first touch. Now then, A few Whites have a get together but we don't know what happens as the mic men have a chat. Talk of Walker and Wellington swapping wings and the......Silva gets a free kick as Lansbury joins he yellow-card club. And....it's......Clough hits the wall. Silva, Walker....and a Madine effort gets a corner. Crosses the field and then a Dervine header clears the bar.

Throw them and.....Amos catches the cross. Not the best game the mic men have ever seen (so they claim) then a bit of scuffling gets us a throw. Half time approaching and a goal for us now would be excellent. Comments that Forest.....ohhhh, is that pen ask the mic men? Ref doesn't want to know. We sally again and are sounding industrious. Reckless challenge from Hyde? gets us a free kick and the ref paints a line and.........it goes wide from a Walker good effort. Goal kick and (are not up to that much?) 1 Min extra and they charge us and get the offside serenade. Madine gets fouled again by the same man who just got a yellow and......Silva's effort beats everybody and goes for a goal kick. 0-0 a half time.

Great performances across the team so far, just Clough having a very quiet afternoon. The frustration has been our failure to capitalise in 4 great balls into the box.

Well shots on target are still an issue but it looks like we had most of the chances in that first half... drew a few fouls out of them as well so can't be too bad...

Just need one of them to lash one in, get us off the mark! COYW!

bbc stats say we've had 44% of the possession (obv. to their 56%)

we've had 8 shots with NONE on target
they've had 4 shots with NONE on target

we've had 4 corners - they've had none
we've commited 4 fouls to their 9

they have two yellow cards - we have none...

Part II. Enter Guy of Gisbourne stage left with a message about Bury. Mic man reminds us how many years since we scored and posts his own message that Walker has been kidnapped in the forest and Liam Feeny rides in to replace him. White firing towards the home support this half.

We go and the ref draws boos as a player is down midfiled. Some chat and the ball is kicked to Amost to start us off again. Offside them and the Prince fires it forward. 16, 500 approx announced as a crowd number. Antonio attempt snuffed and.......PENALTEEEEEE. Clough....
