Really poor up top.

Dervite was a red card in the making with most of the tackles he made.

Madine. Looking for the free kick instead of getting stuck in. Heskey showing him how it's done in less than 10 minutes.

Thank god we were playing a poor side in Blackburn.

0-0 away from home is a good point however we didn't score again.

Hope dervites kept out of the team now the prick. Thought Heskey had done it there..

We played better second half. But hand on heart 0-0 was the best result we had a chance of really. Another winless August.

Pretty dire. Davies was everywhere tonight.. Playing well in his deeper role. We need help up top or it's going to be a long, goalless season!

We need more in midfield to create those proper chances... We miss Pratley, and Vela and Spearing could give us more forward energy if given a chance

If we had clough from last season, and ALF then i think we would have won every game this season except boro.

Unbelievable we had a player sent off in that game and they didn't. Challenges on mavies, and Silva were appalling and could have led too serious injuries. we get a player sent off for a slight push . also the players they tried to injure just happend to be Silva mavies and clough. Theyknew exactly what they we're doing. Disgraceful from Blackburn and from the ref.

Has to be something different to Danns, who I appreciate for the effort he puts in but offers little to link midfield and attack. Mavies was good tonight but can't do it alone. Think Spearing could've done something tonight.

Like when we won all the games with alf abd clough last season?

Apart from the pens (which we would of missed) and a free kick against clough the ref was fine...linos on the other hand...

Clean sheet though so there's the silver lining.
