Marc Iles....
Roger Tamraz aka "Middle Eastern bid" been around for ages. Odd he chooses this point to launch a statement to the paper. Club puzzled #bwfc
As I suspected, someone doing a bit of showboating.

Iles and Nicko are just backtracking because they've been upstaged. Notice the story wasn't broken by either of them

If Iles knew about Tamraz's identity all along, why not report it?

Told that billionaire Mr Tamraz also had/has plan that involves mortgaging assets. If it progressed recently, club very much unaware #bwfc

That's the plan no one knows the ins and outs of, yes?

Jolly good.

Two things.
Despite being born an Egyptian, Roger Tamraz is an American (USA) citizen and his major company Tamoil is registered in the Netherlands. So it's a far stretch to imagine he and the near eastern interest are one and the same.
And has everybody forgotten Kim Jung Un already?
That's not a leopard!

Yeah but, no but, yeah but....

... but surely there couldn't be stuff going on around the sale that's remained discreet. I thought it could only be serious if at least one of our two soothsayers new the Bobby.

I'd hate to burst anyone's bubble, but this sounds well dodgy to me.
I hope for your sakes it isn't, but I would tread very carefully with a fella like this.

Also, wasn't his company, shirt sponsors of Juventus when Gaddafi's son was in charge...

Ah well, I had plans to shock you all on Monday by purchasing the club and sticking Worthy in as chairman to keep the lid on from time to time, never mind!

As I suspected, someone doing a bit of showboating.

well done you for being right! (possibly)

so - you are suggesting we get on with it and sell top sports shield as there is no time left (admin beckons) - but also that we spend more time exploring the options and asking questions - and also you are backing team Tamraz...

NEWSFLASH!

Stinking rich bloke has skeletons in cupboard!

It was revealed today on, The-Wanderer.co.uk fan site, that the stinking rich bloke thrown up as an unlikely, yet possibly interested party in the sale of BWFC has a, shall we say, shady past.

#who'd-a-thought-it!

In my view we go with whoever has put the best resourced bid down on the table. Get the due diligence started. It isn't like that signs us up to something. But get the process going, in my view.

according to you, though - there is only one bid "on the table" isn't there?

Only one has put down cash as far as we know. If there is a secret billionaire doing a deal behind the scenes then I'm team #billionaire.
