They're going to smash us 7-0 in what will turn out to be our last ever game.
Still, could be worse.

I'd have called it either "beware splinters" or "sawn off" or "Axfords are good for..."
7-0 to them.
7-0 to them.

Clubs confirm away fans can pay on the gate. Probably worth keeping your powder dry, considering we're going into admin yesterday.

East Midlands clubs are quite civilised in that respect. Can't once recall being turned away when turning up on the day with dosh at either Derby, Forest, Notts County, Stoke, Leicester, Sheff U, Donny, Barnsley, or Burton.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Clubs confirm away fans can pay on the gate. Being rather picky and as an exiled wanderer in Nottingham.
Forest are nottingham forest , the city ground is actually in the county.
County are Notts County, the county ground is actually located in the city
One thing guaranteed to annoy forest is call them Notts forest , so I could argue the thread title is inaccurate
BTW. Last 3 visits to the city ground has seen us have 3 players sent off.... pratley, alonso, mills.

That was very generous. Maid Marion may well give you one for free for that.TANGODANCER wrote:Edited so as not to upset the sensitive souls beneath the greenwood trees.bwfcnottingham wrote:Being rather picky and as an exiled wanderer in Nottingham.

Trotter hattrick 3-0.
To them.
As he forgets which team he's playing for.

A wednesday fan told me in the pub that he'd heard they'd insisted our fans pay on the gate as BWFC weren't considered good for the ticket receipts!Lost Leopard Spot wrote:East Midlands clubs are quite civilised in that respect. Re: Through the Forest have I gone.....Notts away 16-01-2016
I left them out because I remember once turning up and I couldn't get in without a ticket! Which was easily remedied by going round to the home gatesLeverEnd wrote:A wednesday fan told me in the pub that he'd heard they'd insisted our fans pay on the gate as BWFC weren't considered good for the ticket receipts!Lost Leopard Spot wrote:East Midlands clubs are quite civilised in that respect. ^ Was that back when Sheffield was in the East Midlands?

I am sure any forest fans taking a peek at this thread will be pleased you know you changed the thread name. Almost as pleased as having Dougie as manager.TANGODANCER wrote:Edited so as not to upset the sensitive souls beneath the greenwood trees.bwfcnottingham wrote:Being rather picky and as an exiled wanderer in Nottingham.

Derbys, a bit of Staffs, Notts, top half of Leics, Lincs, Humberside, and South Yorks... them's where east mid weather, news etc take place on tv maps. So yeahArmchair Wanderer wrote:^ Was that back when Sheffield was in the East Midlands?

If it's any consolation, most Bolton fans are very pleased at Forest having Dougie as a manager.bwfcnottingham wrote:

I was hoping the title of this thread would be a David Bowie tribute. I was thinking of "Can we be heroes, just for one game?" Or "The Laughing Gnome v Queen Bitch". But, having seen this stat, perhaps "Dive-in Saturday" would have been better!bwfcnottingham wrote:BTW.
