Also, perhaps unbelievably, we may have a selection dilemma for this weekend. Trotter didn't deserve dropping against Rotherham, and by most accounts lifted us when he came on. But to fit him in means dropping Pratley, Davies or Spearing. I'm sure we all have our own opinions on that, but what will Lenny do?

Furthermore, when you've cracked that one, how does the presumably fit-again Zach Clough slip into the 4-1-4-1 formation we've been using since Spearing has impressively returned? Oh: and who's the other '1', up top?

Stick with Heskey up front, play Davies off him with Trotter and Spearing in front of the back four. Tell Feeney to play higher up the pitch, his pace will frighten no-one from a congested midfield. Shout at them a lot to track back, keep their shape and show a little energy.

Its not Heskey who's at fault. The rest of the team looked on in amazement like statues fixed to the spot every time Heskey (yet again) won the aerial challenge. Give him some bloody support (ie Feeney and Davies).

He was worn out, yes. He wasn't fit enough to start but he did well. Maybe he'll be fitter for Saturday.

That would be a bad move considering how well he's done the last couple of games. See if Mark Davies is having a day, then if not bring Trotter on for him. Leave Spearing in there and don't kick his confidence in the teeth. Either that or bring Trotter in for Pratley somewhere along.

Agree, he needs to drop Pratley and play Trotter.

He chips in with a few goals but personally I think Pratley is a slow, lazy cumbersome player who never busts a gut and ambles around the pitch most of the time - a bit like the old Trotter, but on current form the new Trotter is a better player than Pratley, and Spearing a better captain.
