Tonight was utterly depressing, no shots on goal in the second half Iirc.

Tactics basically involved getting it out wide hoping either one of Feeney or Mavies could beat their man(rarely attempting to even get a 2 on 1 with their full back) and get a ball into the box with no one in there. It's the constant chopping and changing of formations too. It's getting ludicrous. 4-4-2 diamond on Saturday, now a pathetic version of a 4-5-1. How the feck do we get continuity in the side? How the feck do the players know their function in the team from game to game?

Mavies on the left wing with Silva on the bench.....Play your best players in their best positions Ffs. I actually think we could play Clough up front, but it would require tactical nouse something that the manager clearly lacks. Woeful stuff, the guy simply has to go. We might have a shot of staying up with someone else, every week we're playing poor teams. I think a competent man could win us games but with this feck* we are doomed.

Free pie was good though.

I wasn't there last night, but I am absolutely staggered, flabberghastly and confused to see he played Wee Zach up top on his own.

Just...just... it beggars belief. It's just... i'm speechless!!!

Holy hecky thump. Get this brain fart dross cake hot-head buffoon out of Charge ASAP.

I wasn't at the match last night and really don't want to watch the highlights either! But am I right in hearing that Paul Robinson was one of Birmingham's centre halfs? THE Paul Robinson who used to be our left back and got done for pace even then? and yet apparently won every single header and wasn't even troubled? Even just for that and Lennon not being able to take advantage of with a couple of our pacy players (i.e Woollery, Silva) Lennon wants shooting!!

He was centre half in the 0-1 reverse at our place in October too... we started Heskey & Madine that night! Haha!

Yes, the Paul Robinson who scored the only goal in the Bolton-Birmingham game.

With a header.

So, facing a short slow bloke at centre-back, Lennon goes with a lone forward who is laughably short and not particularly quick. Then, because formations and personnel are at at the mercy of tactics, tells his players to fire in crosses from wide.

Wow.

Tbf he's quick enough when Robbo is his oppo.

Doesn't help him on the crosses front, mind. Clough wide left seems the best bet for me at the moment.

^ that wow, just there, was remarkably understated. If it had been mine, and I'm notorious at picking up waif and stray wows, I'd have rehomed it with a rescued FFS at the very least.

Comes a point, Spotty, where one doesn't have to shout. Just pointing things out in a quiet sad voice.
