Meanwhile, and somewhat bizarrely, a report claims that Jimmy Phillips is lined up for sporting director of Hajduk Split.

Re: Which muppet can we appoint next?
Bolton news and Nixon both reporting that new boss to be announced tomorrow. Not Giggs apparently...
Edit: Should note that neither Nixon nor the Bolton news seem to know who it is.....

@MarcIles: Neither owner has given any encouragement to Giggs rumour. KA has now flat out denied any contact made with #mufc legend. Non starter. #bwfc

Neil Bonnar has tweeted that Phil Parkinson is on the back page of the Bolton News tomorrow. Now Bonnar is a class A wind up but Parkinson would be a hell of an appointment...also saw his odds came in quite a way today.
Be very happy if we got him.

I'd imagine to say he's not interested.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Yes. Also if Iles and Nixon are to be belived that the decision has been made, and we're just waiting to hear who it is, then I don't see how it can be Parkinson as he's still in a job.Lord Kangana wrote:I'd imagine to say he's not interested.

Iles tweeting that "a decision HAS been made on the next manager. I think something official will be said in the next few days."
Bonnar's just saying that Phil Parkinson "makes the back page", which could quite possibly be in the "was in the frame but not interviewed" sense.

Aye. Like I said, Bonnar is a wind up. But then again Parkinson would fit with previous assertion we were interviewing a manager in a job.....just a dream I guess.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Iles tweeting that "a decision HAS been made on the next manager. There's been so many proclamations and quasi-rules that I forget where we're up to, but Ken did say that he wanted someone with experience of promotion from this division. Parky hasn't got that, although I agree he is certainly worth consideration.

Took Colchester up from league one didn't he?Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:There's been so many proclamations and quasi-rules that I forget where we're up to, but Ken did say that he wanted someone with experience of promotion from this division. Nixon saying that he thinks there is 'work to be done' before they can announce anyone...
Parkinson would fit that as his exit from Bradford would need to be secured....more I think about it more I think it could be him. And I'd be delighted. Proper manager.
Re: Which muppet can we appoint next?
Yep. Done a great job there with feck all money. I'd even let him off being a dirty bastard for Bury 25 years ago. c*nt.BWFC_Insane wrote:Took Colchester up from league one didn't he?Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:There's been so many proclamations and quasi-rules that I forget where we're up to, but Ken did say that he wanted someone with experience of promotion from this division.
