Which muppet can we appoint next?

The search down the back of the settee did the trick then.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

Well good. See they might be getting their act together. Perhaps the story prompted some action. But either way be good to see some solid progress.

Just to be clear - has everyone been paid on time? The geezer just held onto his money as long as possible rather than plunging it into the bwfc black hole?

An unsubstantiated 'story' from Batman and friends. In your world of darkness, is it not conceivable that maybe, just maybe that the players were being paid all along and stuff you read on the Internet isn't always true?

Your iPhone probably has a torch app on it. Try using it occasionally

BN piece is live. Anderson speaks. It seems he doesn't want Reid. Front runners now Steve Cotterill, Chris Powell and Nigel Adkins, all interviewed yesterday. One other is currently employed and in probably related news we may also be keeping tabs on the Steve Evans situation.

Interviewed by Ken alone it sounds. Perhaps he's stuck his cash in to get the casting vote?

Don't fancy Powell. Other two would do.

Well presumably he put his money in if the players received their ill-gotten gains...

Care to expand on why you don't fancy Powell? Of those three, I think Adkins floats my boat the most.

No real reason, just something about him doesn't scream "winner" to me. Did well at Charlton I guess though iirc he did well once he had been able to remodel the side quite a bit.

Mixed really.

Charlton: League One champions in his first full season - you'd settle for it  But yes, he did remodel that side in a way he might not be able to here. And he left them bottom of the Championship... although they'd finished 9th the year before.

Huddersfield: 14 months, they were 17th (Champo) when he arrived in Sep 2014, they finished 16th; he was sacked in Nov 2015 with them 11th, they finished 19th. (Since play-off promotion in 2012 they've finished 19th, 17th, 16th and 19th, so his finish was actually their highest this millennium, albeit only fractionally.) He was sacked six weeks after his side tore us a new bumhole 4-1 (and went 9th), although he only won one of the next seven (against MK Dons).

BWFCi's last sentence, or that weird closing quote in the BN?
Ken said rather than wrote:I spoke to one of the staff yesterday about one of the names and he sounded disappointed – but then would we say no to Jose Mourinho if he wanted the job?

The Mourinho one. What does that even mean? It's nonsense. Or is it me?

Anderson hasn't put his money in - boooooooooooooo!
Anderson has put his money in - but only to get what he wants - booooooooooooooooo!

(didn't Anderson say the money was available when it was needed? That could also be what happened, no?)
