For new signings, ask the man from the Pru

OK. Well, I know we're borassic but how much do you think we could pay them to take him ?

I've just won 6 months worth of Aerial Washing powder. If I donate it to Wigan they might accept that for him?
I'd hold back & see if 3 months worth would do it. But if we are forced that'd be a good bargaining chip. I have 2 half-used, not-quite-stale Roberts' medium sliced loaf's they can have too. But they'll need to hurry.

I feel the race is hotting up.
I have just won £6.50 on Euromillions I am willing to donate should cover the signing on fee!
I think that should be enough for sideways Darren

You could probably own the Club and convince the Football League it was all candy, if you told 'em you'd won Euromillions.

I'm not getting my hopes up. He's the new Zat Knight
Come on Zat Knight was bad but not that bad
Zat Knight is the worst player that we've ever had, and that's that!

This'll come down to how much of his contract he wants paid up versus how much Wiggin fancy coughing up as a fee. I'm happy if we break even.

Unless Slippery Ken can convince their 12 year old chairman he's a local galactico and worthy recipient of their parachute dosh.

Not even close. He wasn't even the worst player in the squad he played in.

Not to say he was any good or anything other than a journeyman stealing an undeserved living. But not the worst player we've had to endure not by a stretch.

Agreed. Not entirely certain how Sammy Lee was convinced that he was a footballer.

He wasn't convinced, himself. He jacked it in back in France at 27...

Sammy Lee didn't sign him. He was a parting gift from Allardyce.

True that, so, too, was Blerim Dzemaili. And where is he now...?

Ah, but that could be construed as a massive two-finger salute to Gartside. Sammy Lee was the one who started playing him (as did Megson...)

Napoli paid €9m for him in 2011....scored 16 goals in 86 appearances for them

Aye, he ended up playing champions league football. Wonder if he's at home thinking "I wonder where Bolton are now".

Yeah, saw Dzemali play a few times for the stiffs. Him and Vaz Te were light years ahead of most the others who they shared a pitch with. Well worth a punt as a free.

Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.
