Wasn't Dwight Pezzarossi also? I seem to remember him pitching up from Guatemala with his Guinea Pig sandwiches and was completely shite. Wasn't he the first Guatemalan? Is he also, to date, the last?Nicko58 wrote: it's the first time that anyone from his country has been signed by a club in England

Me too. Must have psychic powers and realised I thought he was a cnut because I never actually tweeted it!Hoboh wrote:Neither can I since he blocked meDave Sutton's barnet wrote:Cheers (can't follow his tweets as I haven't penetrated his intimate circle). Interesting indeed. Could be someone from a 'new' footballing country?

Afghan international midfielder/winger who has played in Germany apparently. Unless it's bollocks.

Josef Shirdel is who Nixon claims we are signing.
No confirmation from a better source though.
However, I note IF it is true it would be a 4th signing over 6ft.....

Good test of Nixon's credentials this. Josef Shirdel from Afghanistan is quite the guess if your business is pulling rumours out of your arse.

Of course that isn't what he's doing. Anyone who genuinely thinks that is totally bonkers.Tombwfc wrote:Good test of Nixon's credentials this. Josef Shirdel from Afghanistan is quite the guess if your business is pulling rumours out of your arse.
But depends who is telling him stuff.
Assume this guy must have a dual nationality as he'd not get a work permit.

He was born in Germany and, judging by his career history, was probably raised there. A work permit shouldn't be a problem.BWFC_Insane wrote:Of course that isn't what he's doing. Joseph Fritzl?
Re: For new signings, ask the man from the Pru
He can sign. As long as he's contractually obliged to keep twatdick wilkinson and Dervite in his cellar.officer_dibble wrote:Joseph Fritzl?

Anyhow Nixon says he doesn't know anything other than he's been told the lad is coming in tomorrow. I will bet it is for a trial rather than a straight signing. Seems too random that Parky's team would have scouted him.
