Would they be likely to rely on him, when he scored 0 in 25 PL appearances last time? Possibly not, but would they be likely to loan him out (for at least the half-season these days, remember)? If so, wouldn't there be Champo sides interested? And could we afford his wages? On the latter, I note Iles is saying the Holding cash might be used to pay higher wages - still not expected to pay transfer fees.

Are we even allowed to pay a transfer fee?

Also are our existing wages now being covered by Holding's sale? Has Anderson put his money in that was allocated to cover wages yet?

I'm not sure there is any agreement for Anderson to put money in to cover "wages", if we get to a place where our revenue covers them (and our other non-wage bills).

The plan they submitted to the football league included money from sports shield and inner circle to cover costs till the end of next season. I agree that costs may have been reduced but I somehow doubt they are now self sufficient.

The 20-year-old is expected to make his debut on the club's pre season tour in America and with Gabriel suffering from tonsillitis, Laurent Koscielny not due to return to the club until August and a rumoured knee injury for Per Mertesacker, Holding may be pressed into regular first-team action earlier than expected.

Do we need 2? Seems to me we've got an either/or for the target man with proctor and madine. Then for support striker/quick bloke off the target man there is Clough, Clayton, Woolery...plus George Newell looked good to me in his cameo ladt seadon.

That's enormous pressure on Zac to score the goals if that's who we're going with. They're a young bunch so hopefully it'll click for at least one of them, but I'm not expecting double figures for (m)any of them.
