From the BN, Jimmy set to name a young squad: “It’s a chance for a few of the younger ones to get an opportunity and see what the future holds for the club. That future will be based upon, as far as I’m aware, the lower salary earners. That marries up to the younger players.”

Might as well say it... But elsewhere in the paper Iles says it might be Trotter and Moxey who get left behind today, while Wheater and Heskey (and presumably Pratley) go along...

Not Greece. Either Turkey or the Syria/Palestine/Israel area. It's all very peaceful round there now.

I like heskey, he seems a decent guy and tries his best. But why the fck is he starting games when he presumably isn't going to be here next season? And all that with arguably a younger better option on the bench.....Woolery.

Stereo stuff about dragons being slain (or not) by the micmen, and not scintilating views on hope and glory. Off we go and they get a free right off that Threlkeld heads away. Pratley gets decked and we retaliate with a free of our own. Prat gets a boo or two then,.....well, we now have a throw , so that was that. We go, they clear and ...some results just to keep us interested. Now then, they come again and......get to our box and....Pilkington wins a free right on our box edge after Vela hacks him down. And......cleared, then .....they win a corner. Whittingham and...Threlkeld clears. Noone chps one in and....Connely just fails to connect.

A beaut from Zack and it sails into the onion bag. What a nice start.....Now another midfield free to us and.....some scores....bollox to Bury and.......we get a corner. Wahey.......and now.....oooohhhhhh Derik and Wheater force a great save from the keeper (Marshall). Throw now and....we get another corner. Hello mudda.....come on....and....they clear messily but Pratley and Holden hit the turf. Holden up and.....

Is Pratley resurected...??? Yes, we have another corner. Who are these superstars...? Goalkick them and the wind is with us (we're told) They have a sally now and....we clear and win a throw midway. Apparently we got a bit lucky there. O'Keefe clears it to his keeper and away they come. Micman giving faint praise to our defence and then they almost score via O'Keefe from distance....Goal kick. They have it again and....go back a bit....Maloney gets intercepted and then re-intercepted. All soulds a bit to and fro but hey, we're in fron right now.

They come and win a corner off Oscar. And.....we block it for a throw. Morrison getting pleanty mention, then Maher gives Noone a free kick. Whittingham and.....and.....in and......it goes wide from Noone. Corner again after a deflection and....out and.....Morrison again and we clear after a ping-pong sally. We clear again and....get a throw. More scores then back come the homers and ....we clear via Oscaar again. Wheater not doing well there apparently. Holding clears for a throw. Noone at 3-20 (sorry  ) gets Maher a chat from Jimmy P. They visit and....end up with a throw. Noone again and deflects back to them. Some more possession for the homers then Wheater eventually clears Piulkingtons shot for a corner. Amos does a Mike Tyson and.....Vela gets some shirt pulling and crosses poorly. Has a moan to the ref. They visit us yet again and Oscar gets a bit lucky with a free kick claim. Reidy doing a sergeant major on the line..apparently. Danns, now Pratley....and a couple of deflections give them a throw. They come back at us and....we get a deep throw.

More pressure from the homers and.....Whittingham.....Noone....Holding and Clough head clear but only back to them. Sounds like total possession for them and then Heskey gets a battling free kick. Amos wallops and....(he's been booked forc time wasting) bangs it out of touch. Free them now and....here they come. Perlier? and Morrison gets a card following through on Oscar. Again we got lucky...says the micman. Some scores and.....Maher gets assaulted by a Welsh invasion and then gets a red and an early bath. Elbow apparently....shxt..

A very stupid red says our reporter and.....we need a sub now. Pratley, Phillips and Reid have a conflab then Garret? enters the fray for Pratley? Not sure about that one? ....and micman agrees. And Wittinghame almosts knocks one in (it goes over the top) Danger signals on vermillion and mic lads have a chat. Then......Garret goes forth and...they get a throw off Zack.
Into the last ten till lemon time and.....some scores and....Wheater heads out for a throw. Wheater's bright yellow boots causing some slips before Amos gets in the way of a shot. Activity on the Whites bench then..Noone, Malone, Rawls? Holden clears. Danns now wins a free kick and.....a mic chat then.....another chat and....some more scores and.....and....here they come and.....Noone makes Amos make a save before we scramble it away. We get a throw now. And.......Clough goes down and needs a visit from the medicine man, but no free kick. Reidy doing the shouting, says our man, as we creep towards the end of Part I. Now then, after drinks all round....and we get a goal kick as Zack resumes.

Y reportiau Cymraeg suggested that No one made the most of that. "Some referees would have just had a word with him" he said.

I guess naivety from a young lad.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

Herskey flicks, they clear to Noone again and ...Rawls, Malone, cleared but to O'Keeve and they lose it then regain it. Clough clogs one clear and...Noone again, Rawls, Malone, Connely........the Treorchy male voice choir, Noone....and Garret does well and they get a throw. We get it, lose it and.....Amos has it in his gloves. Can we go in one goal up???? Three mins added now and.....we have a throw and Tyler Garret (sound like a refugee from the deep south of U'S. Some more to and fro from the valiant ten and.....we get a free kick for assault....or something..Our kick goes out for a throw as...Malone slips and...mic man say the pre-match watering didn't quite work. Homers sally and.........it's half time and we go in 1-0 up. Ye :oyea: ah....

Well, Rourke's Drift might be about to get a re-make and the lads in the mission are set for a siege. I might be tempted to swap Wollery for Emil, but our options with ten are a bit slim. Part Two...

Here we go and the Axford's woodchopper choir sound the battle cry. Mic man going home in ice-skates if we win, is the claim, so no real optimism then. They have at us and....ohhhh, Amos spilled one on the line before we scramble it clear. Oscar saved the day then befor Morrison had a lash that went wide. Danns now and......the troops didn't get up in time and it was cleared. Cabbages and Kings for a bit then Ameobi Jr lobs one over our bar. Chat about scores then....we clear and break. Threlkkeld and.......Oh, a cracking break from Threlkeld, Heskey then Clough forces a corner out of the keeper. Now they sally back and....Noone slips and Amos gathers. Back they come from a goalkick and Holding heads out for a throw.

Oscar throws, Derik clears, forth and back again and here comes Ameaobi and.....Holding whips it away from Zaora? and a corner. We clear and...Danns eventually loses out and....its 1-1 on the break.
