2-1 up at HT. Samizadeh and a Newell pen, then they halved the deficit.

Team: Jaaskelainen, Spooner, Ribeiro, Honeyball, Brockbank, Ca, Grant, Earing, Shirdel, Samizadeh, Kilota.

Bloody hell. Not many of that lot went to St. Ethelbert's.

Tssk. You Leythers.

It's an RC junior school in Deane. You could interchange it with any NW RC school.

If anyone is having a beer before the Crewe match, pop in here.

All the pubs near the ground are rough as a badger's and only serve p*ss water....

No pay on the day for this according to the offish twit. Seems odd for a friendly.

Yes got tickets yesterday. Not sure how many they've sold. They might open it up if not many have gone.

Club now saying that tickets will be available on the day, though slightly dearer than those bought in advance. I suggest we get on their forums to demand a boycott.

Iles reporting that Wheater could feature today after spending the week training with the squad at Lostock. Possibility of re-signing, it seems.

Wheater! No way. Decent turnout on the away end. A few hundred here.
Interesting facts- they have a stand named after Ian greaves and this claims to be the oldest professional football ground in the world.

Defence looms vulnerable to their quick little forward and his runs. Started very poorly.
