We should expect 4-4-2 and clean sheets.
TBF We rarely need owt else other that goals to turn some of the nil-nils into three points. Every other game should suffice. :-)
I've seen just two wins in the past six years (and it's almost three years since the last one). I'd be ecstatic with 1-0 if I was there to witness it. :D

After 15 or 16 of them Tony you'd be getting bored. I promise you.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

He's done his homework....or some other horrendous cliche for "checked out prospective new employers before signing on the dotted line".

http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/wa ... _39_s_job/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Interestingly though...
Parkinson has already brought in three members of his backroom from Valley Parade in assistant Steve Parkin, sports science specialist Nick Allenby and goalkeeper coach Lee Butler.

It is expected he will be joined by chief scout Tim Breacker, who was away on holiday last week and unable to sign his contract.
Fair old number of staff to bring across for a club that is broke....has Ken found his wallet down the back of the sofa?

Either that or we've possibly saved more than expected with Lennon getting a new gig so quickly, if the gardening leave rumours are true, so we've been able to route it towards bringing staff across.

And what he says is encouraging but not much different than what Lennon and Freedman said when they first came in.
Aye, I think the difference is that our problems are very much out in the open now. Lennon clearly had no clue as to the real picture.

And Freedman as I've said before was told he'd be able to rebuild the entire squad with considerable financial backing then ended up not being able to do so.

Hopefully Parkinson is aware of the reality in it's entirety...

I seem to remember some debate on here wrt Lennon when the wheels fell off and whether it was his fault or not, that he didnt fully understand the clubs position, with some posters claiming lack of diligence, naivete.

Despite the article and mr I's comment, I imagine the scenario is more like PP asks KA whats the situation wrt the size of transfer pot, the embargo etc as part of the negotiation and is given verbal assurances, which are then either kept or not, forgotten or evolve.

Anybody with real life examples where these kind of things have been written into a managers contract ?

Backroom team officially confirmed. This is nice as the club has been a bit poor about confirming backroom staff appointments for a few years now, sometimes people have just turned up...

Just so we're all clear that there's going to be more backroom people arriving...

Should this not be in TKIZ's scouting or Pru new signing thread or are we waiting for PSG.

Official site announces that another of Parky's Bratfurt backroom boys has come over to the good side of the hill: Matt Barrass, new head physio.

And yes, in case you wondered, he is the grandson of ye olde BWFC player Malcolm (or 'Malcom' as the Twitter feed spells it) Barrass.

Sensible stuff from Parky, this (per BN):
It’s a big change for all the staff who have come over but they are enjoying it. They are all relishing their new roles and it’s good to integrate people who came with me with existing staff as well. A lot of those are on the trip with us and that’s very important because we don’t want it to be ‘we’ve come over from Bradford’ and there be two camps. We have to integrate them both.

We have to form a team off the pitch as well because to be successful over the course of the season you need everybody pulling together. You need everyone prepared to go that extra mile to bring success on the pitch. The staff – the team behind the team – is absolutely crucial.

I’ve definitely felt that the people who were here initially are trying to do everything they can to help. That’s great from my point of view. You can see that everyone wants to get this club going again. It’s going to take one almighty effort, we all know that, but there have been a lot of good signs from my first week or so at the club. We need to keep building on that because hard work from everyone, top to bottom, gives you a great chance.

^^ Useless.

Not once did he explain about playing without the ball. Nor has he brought the fans "a wee present".
