New kit?

Post by jetsetwilly » Sat Jul 09, 2016 7:17 am

Presume we will be having a new kit. Anyone got an idea when it is out?

I asked in the shop 2/3 weeks back and was told it is still being worked on. They better get cracking! Only 4 weeks or so until the season kicks off.

Apparently it's delayed because the new sponsors haven't signed off their logo design.

Local paper insists it's no longer an "Evening" edition I guess.

Unless I'm not mistaken if you take a look at the Offish twitter feed there might be a slight indication of what to expect from the new kit from the friendly today, perhaps?
Pfffft.

The only concern about the new kit is whether it's still filled with useless bastards (with the clean slate).

Apparently that's just a temp kit. Although I wouldn't be upset if that did turn out to be THE kit...

Wasn't the yellow version the 'temp' kit?

Maybe they should be given free to season ticket holders.

Ah, it's that time of year again at which grown men morph into adolescent girls at the prospect of the latest ridiculously overpriced variation of a white football top with blue shorts.

As I was reading this topic a tweet has came through saying "SpinandWin" will be our new principal shirt sponsor. I would presume the shirts will be announced very shortly.

The club’s soon-to-be-revealed 2016/17 Macron-manufactured home shirt will be available for pre-order in person at Bolton Central or online at bwfcdirect.co.uk on Thursday 21 July. Pre-ordered shirts will be available to collect from Bolton Central on Friday 29 July at midday.

The new home shirts will be on open sale from 9am on Saturday 30 July ahead of Bolton’s final pre-season fixture against Preston North End at Macron Stadium.

Not as bad a loan shark I guess, but still a pretty shitty industry. Not to mention the shirts will look a little ridiculous lol.

So that's how we're picking the team next season....
