I have to admit to a certain amount of giddiness at our start, however I am trying to remind myself that we are probably only an injury or two away from rank mediocrity and that our lack of strength in depth might just do us in the end. I also expect the likes of Bradford, Charlton and Scunthorpe to be smart enough and good enough to exploit our lack of width and cause us problems (as Fleetwood tried to do today). If we start to beat those teams though, then I really will begin to get my hopes up.

Don't.

It's the hope that kills you.

Flat cynicism and general disbelief is best. Trust me.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I do believe there was a 'judge them after 10 games' consensus on here previously.

I shall be reviewing my state of giddyness at the appropriate juncture.

Well ... last season the 20th placed club, Shrewsbury, had 50 points after 46 games. I think that's the first target.

Being giddy right now for me is enjoying the moment. 4 out of 4, best start in 82 years top othe league. We've not had anything for about 5 seasons to enjoy much so this is a small, but giddy inducing moment.

Forget about what might happen next week or the week after, that will play out. Right now we are the only team with a 100% record. Might as well enjoy it while we can.

Least that is how I see it.

42 games left, 126 points on offer, 138 points achievable.

I don't see what the problem is.

I'm that giddy I'm going to the Charlton game on Saturday. Not giddy enough to start a thread mind.
