You'd be hard pressed to claim a boycott when there's a general lack of interest anywayboltonboris wrote:Boycott this bollocks
The run to the 1989 Sherpa Van Trophy triumph started with me and 2,694 others at Burnden watching us half-arsedly beat PNE 1-0
Defending the trophy started at home against Crewe - attendance 3,868

Speaking of the Sherpa Van Trophy, did anyone else call Stuart Storer "Shinners" or did I imagine the whole thing.

Just you, mateAndy Waller wrote:Speaking of the Sherpa Van Trophy, did anyone else call Stuart Storer "Shinners" or did I imagine the whole thing.
Stuart Storer, blimey. He'd fit into our ugly XI. Up there with Beardsley and Wheater.
Can we get a 1 to 11 of ugly Wanderers all in their correct positions? I bet we can.
May the bridges I burn light your way

This Sherpa Van Daft Painting Trophy - might be more meaningful if the Northern finalists got a bonus point to add to their league, two for winning the NF, four for winning the Wembley final? Might concentrate a few minds into putting out proper teams early on?
Ian Moores.

I have very good reason not to go anywhere near the lovely town of Cheltenham.
That's all I'm saying.
