Pratley
Feel free to take this with a pinch of salt, but Ken Anderson's son - who I understand is quite involved in the day-to-day running of things - has tweeted that Pratley will be out for eight weeks.
If that does turn out to be correct, then it's not too bad considering how serious it looked when it happened.

I'd take 8 weeks as it looked a bad one.
Re: Pratley
Agreed, I really feared it was a season/career threatening one. It looked bad .BWFC_Insane wrote:I'd take 8 weeks as it looked a bad one.

Re: Pratley
Just out of interest, I wonder when was the last time the management/BEN/Physio actually got an injury estimate right?? It always seems that players are out much longer than stated.

Ran around a lot and disrupted things, but generally as shite with the round thing as he's ever been.
Was quite effective though for the way we set up

Re: Pratley
is this the place for the annual exchange?
Pratley is shoite... Pratley is garbage... I'd offer to drive him to the moon if Moon Utd made an offer...
oh - Pratley had a decentish game...
oh feck - Pratley is injured - we're doooooomed!

Re: Pratley
See Pratley will be out for longer now as additional ligament damage has been found.
14 weeks the estimate according to Parky.

That sounds more like the crack it looked like, which for the bish's benefit may not have been serious.

Re: Pratley
Could be back before Christmas. We're due a bad run again aren't we?

Re: Pratley
I think he'd be a big gain. Extra person who can run and run. And Vela will need a rest at some point. Pratley can do that running, he may not be as good on the ball but he's arguably got an even better engine than Josh.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Could be back before Christmas. If he puts Trotter one person further from the team it's a good thing.BWFC_Insane wrote:I think he'd be a big gain. Extra person who can run and run. And Vela will need a rest at some point. Re: Pratley
My worry is that he will play instead of Vela. Managers usually have a blindness with some players and we haven't seen Parky's yet. Using him as back up is fine, but nothing needs changing at the moment, apart from a striker that can hold the ball up and hit a barn door from 3 yards...BWFC_Insane wrote:I think he'd be a big gain.
