Throw gets Anderson a mention and James Henry feeds a goal kick to them. We get a handball free kick and Howard whacks one and Henry volley's the whack just over the top. That's the spirit lad.... :oyea:

Not the best start then. A cross and Ciprianni? banged it home. Vela concurs a free kick and we are already facing uphill. We get a free for a foul on the Machine and.....cleared but back we go. We sally and.....it ends with the keeper off a deflection. We need to get back on terms pretty quick. They're at us again and Buxton getting a gee-up from micman and Zico.

Come on lads, let's get a grip then. We go and.....get a corner and......and....it hits Anderson on the line and it's cleared. And.........and.......we have a penalty shout denied.....

The shrimpers visit via that ...priani fella again and.....we clear and Anderson does well and....Henry loses it, we come back again and win a throw. Vela and....Buxton and......Madine visits grass and gets a no-no off the ref. And.....Buxton from deep .....and the shrimpers get a free kick. Barrat and....cleared and cleared again. Howard whacks one and....some to and fro and ....some more and a free kick us and.....micman and Zico disagree about the foul then...Spearing.....and...it isn't good then Moxey gives one away.

The machine gets a good touch and then again and......we have some possession and.....we get a corner. Come on lads, get in there. Spearing and....they clear and get a goal kick via a bounce off a White. Moxey gets decked and is staying down for tratment on a head knock....and we visit the Bury game.....right. Parky has a word with the lads and....Moxey rises from his death bed and we resume. Anderson getting the good words and.....Moxey sends a cross over the bar "whikle the marbles are still rolling around"....We go via Henry, Trotter, Anderson, Trotter again and cleared....we're still down 1-0 but.....we try again and there is a shrimper down and the rest of them have a wail as Spearing clouts one over.

Anton Ferdinand has had enough of us and is leaving the fray after getting grassed. Sub arrives and off we go again. They try a visit and....we give away a throw near our area. And.....throw them again and....the ref gives them a corner. The Cipriani? fella is cleared and we get a goal kick. Get a goal lads, come on. Howard , Spearing and a bit of us and them before Madine tries a header that he can't quite keep down. Some mither about a goal from Bury and the, back in the real world....Zico has a chat and they get a throw.

A shrimp opportunist long-shot from Cox goes not too far over then....Trotter sets off but it ends with a throw them. Moxey clears, they get a throw and....mic men have a chat then.....we get a throw and....and....we get another. Long throw then Howard clears and the micmen have a chat about Moxey, he Machine does well,.....and a cross comes over and we sway a few passes and.......Madine's header is wide and he goes to grass injured?

Is the machine on wash or spin? He hobbles to the sideline and....oh, it isn't a heavey hobble.....apparently. We sally again ....they have a goal kick. Spearing and the back lads send us forth and then Spearing gives one away as.....Bury score again. Who cares? Back at the ranch Howard sets Anderson off, Madine cuts one out and...Vela, Henry.....Vela....Buxton and......ooohhh, the keeper spills it and....they manage to clear it. Henry, Buxton and.....we lose out. The silly bit apart our defencxe sounds in charge? Spearing get a yellow to disagreement from the micbox.

They sally, Trotter gets us moving and we have a bit of ping and pong then Trotter, Wheater, Anderson, Henry and.......the miclads go mad as the ref refuses a pen appeal on Madine.....Henry, now, Vela, Beevers, Wheater, some possession and we go and...Henry shaves one past the post off the keeper's touch. Corner us and......and.....Beevers, Anderson stars again and...Henry and.....we get another free. Spearing steps up and......and......it's cleaed for a corner. And....Spearing again and.....and....Wheater nods past the post.

Sounds like it's us that are making the play. Trotter clears back to Howard and Mic man mentions Moxey might have a
knock? Comments are good from the micbox and Buxton send one in Moxey has a poor effort. Moxey again and.....they clear, Spearing and Wheater send it back and.........how the fxccckkkk did that not go in mic man alsmost says.

We've had 10 attempts on goal (to Southend's 2), but just 1 on target

Throw them, Buxton gets one in the dial but gets up. Ref having a word with Brownie about time-wasting? Throw us and....and....mic men have a chat then Howard leathers it. Madine wins it but they clear. Anderson tries, they clear then lose it again and....there's only one min left (officially?)..Henry and....then Beevers and....speculation about time....it's four minutes and.....Henry has a go from twenty five to no avail. We clear and..Wheater nods one back to Howard. Throw us and...Buxton, Vela, Spearing.....Vela....Buxton, Wheater, Moxey.....and so say all of us as they clear. A long lob-the keeper effort from them ...doesnt. Now then, Anderson gets chopped in an advantageous position, frre us and.......and......and....it's a corner as Henry hits the wall. Spearing corner and .....and....another and....some action in the box and.....and.......and.....it's half-time. 1-0 Shrimpers.

Bradford winning at Millwall (who put Parky's lot out of the play-offs last season) means WE! AREN'T! TOPO'THELEAGUE!

But, y'know, I have faith in the gaffer. We were also losing to Fleetwood and the Wombles...

It sounds like the machine is making himself a reputation for going to grass with the refs, not a very good idea, they never gave SuperKev much and he was a lot harder than Madine. Ah, well, we'll just have t score two....or maybe three...or even four? .....Part two of the drama commences...in a minute...

Very poor game. Southend have done little since the goal and we are totally one dimensional. New boys barely in the game.
Another big half time sort out needed.

Bury whacking the goals in and we can't buy one.....yet. Anyway, the bronze brigade trot out to join us and the ref checks everything and....we're off.

Spearing, Moxey....Madine...cleared for them and.....they wallop one, Cox persists and wins a corner. Ciprianu (got it right this time I think) then it ends with Howard and......and....Anderson got it but couldn't finish. It has to be the water at the Macron...surely. Buxton sends us forth as 13,500 announced through the turnstuyles and......it's 1-1..... :oyea:
