COME ON YOU WHITES........We'll score now, just watch.... Alnwick sets Taylor off but it ends with their keeper. Robins come looking for cheese but Moxey taps one off one for a throw. Rain is heavy but the pitch holding up well, says micman. Throw us and.....some head tennis before Wright sends them forth. And.....Wheater puts a stop to it amidst penalty claims. Ref wants a word with one of our contingent then Vela clears to Anderson. Taylor gets a free kick from a Harry Pell? challenge that gets him a card. Taylor down for a bit then.....he limps off. Free kick us then, and Moxey takes. And...we get it back and....Moxey, Trotter, Moxey and....Henry and cleared. Throw us and Taylor is back on.

Re: Checkatrade Trophy....it's tonight...
We have some this and that before their keeper palms it away. Throw us and......Troter and...Wilson, Henry and we retreat, then sally forth again. All sounding pass and take, take and pass but no real cutting edge. Anderson, Henry, Wilson, Trotter......and it ends with a goal kick to them. And.....another scuffed attempt goes high and wide from Anderson. Taylor, Henry, Vela, Buxton....and Henry ....doesn't hit anything except fresh air. I could sing a song if you like...maybe that will bring us a goal...
"Forty shillings on the drum, who will volunteer to come,
To fight the savage foe today, Over the hills and far away...
Oer the hills and oer the main, Flanders, Portugal and Spain,
King George commands and we obey...over the hills and far away....."
Right then, we go with Buxton, Taylor, Henry claims for a pen to no avail and....Henry gets blocked off and.....oh, shxt, off to find Bury have scored. Who cares right now? Wilson goes and....Moxey and.....we get a corner .....and....and headed clear and back again and they get a free kick. Subs about to happen for both sides. Clough, Clayton and Ameobi are all coming on. If we can't score now.......

Henry, Taylor and Anderson off and the three musketeers on. Free kick them now and.....they sally at us. The shoot, we block, they get a free for Moxey interfering with something or other....Poor goal kick give them the ball back and he almost strays outside his area with the ball. They come and Proctor gets done for an unlucky free kick. Sammi O goes, Clayton get a touch, Vela, Wilson, Ameobi.....and we go back and forth and......Trotter hits the keeper with a shot.

Bayern Munich yesterday, Cheltenham today....oh for Nolan and Super Kev right now. Wilson goes, Ameobi, Vela, Clough, ....and a corner. Now then, Zac and..headed out. Moxey has a wild swing, says micman. Not over impressive tonight then from the SuperWhites. Come on lads, a win is all that matter. Buxton, Trotter, Vela and ping and pong and.....Clayton gets a mention and....a bit of chat then the Robins swap Nunns for Whitehead. Sheesh, come on lads, get it sorted....but they clear and come forth. They wallop it forth and keep possession and....Ameobi clears to Wilson. Their keeper has it with a couple of mins left and...........they get a fxcking penalty.......can you believe it?

And it's ......four minutes added but.....we're one down. Can this be believed....? so we go to hear about Bury......xxxx them, get on with this......Oh keep chatting lads......and meanwhile back at Boot Hill.....Ameobi and.....and.....Clayton ..and a throw and....mic man rambles on and the get a throw. Another throw them and Trotter ....has a throw. Ameobi now, and it ends on Alnwicks launch pad. Throw them and.....its over and we're out. Goodnight Vienna.

No wembley this season.
Annoyed. We should have given this a go, but FL made a joke of it.
Tonight shows we lack depth up front. Proctor, Anderson...try again in January Phil.

Always disappointing to lose and all the more so after seven straight wins. But, if I can allow my head to overrule my heart for a moment, an irrelevant result in the scheme of things. Onwards and upwards!

I'm struggling to get too upset...
Re: Checkatrade Trophy....it's tonight...
Errrm...I forgot we were playing in this tonight
Re: Checkatrade Trophy....it's tonight...
I posted in here this afternoon and still forgot.
Really annoyed the FA/FL/whoever have f*cked this. Was looking forward to it being a proper cup.
OD, you never know, few injuries and we might need the play offs to go up

Re: Checkatrade Trophy....it's tonight...
The squad looks desperately short of goals when Clough isn't playing. This could be a major problem given he is injury prone, and we are likely to receive tempting offers in January.
