Once again though I think we've mainy been disrupted by injuries in recent weeks. Too many in and out in midfield and the continuity wed built up went astray.
Actually since those injuries have deprived us of the service of some, we've done better!

Trotters back and the wheels are coming off.

A dreadful 1st half performance but even with the little creativity we produced in the 2nd half, I felt there was still the prospect of us nicking a point. If that's the best we're going to face away from home from outside of the top 2 or 3 teams, then we should be good for a play off spot. The defence is so good, if we could just create and convert a little better we'd run away with this division

I've just seen it again and anyone blaming the keeper for their goal needs to give their head a very decent shake indeed.

I've seen it plenty times and it's the keeper's fault.

Anyone blaming fecking Beevers certainly want to give their head a shake!

Off to the head-shaker's for you. It's out of his reach and if Beevers hadn't backed off him he wouldn't have been able to pick his spot so perfectly. It's an excellent finish.

Not sure it was actually anyone's "fault" As for him picking his spot, I think he just hit and hoped. The keeper might be a little disappointed, but only because he actually got pretty near to it.

I think you both need to give your heads a shake! :-)

Definite keeper error for me, watched it plenty. Not in the corner, not in off the bar. He had a good look at it too and it goes through him. And his kicking was a liabiltiy too. Let's hope Howard gets back soon.

There is a defenite correlation between us playing shit and trotter in the team. All the midfielders bar him seem to get injured as well, why is he so fecking indestructable!

I suspect that this is down to him only ever playing in 1st gear, he never puts himself into any situation where he could get injured or pull or strain a muscle as he doesn't do anything at any pace or intensity - he doesn't run he just ambles around, he doesn't really tackle hard if at all, to be honest he hardly moves so its no surprise that he never gets injured.

I'm sure we can all agree - Howard out for three months is a fecking disaster. Who's going to be cover for Alnwick btw? Young Jaaskelainen, or do we get to recall the hologram?

Checked up on Amos a few weeks ago. Seems he's doing well there so I doubt it, especially on £16k a week. They'll probably go with a kid in the bench and ask for emergency loan if anything happens to Alnwick. Hope he gets an easy time against Milwall and settles in confidently.

Sure is. Left to right, W/D/L with Trotter in and out of the starting XI:

Apparently he asked to come off - he'd stiffened up (per BN).

Jake Turner seems to be the next in line. He's already been on the bench once this season.

He made his debut for England U17s yesterdays and kept a clean sheet.

I'd have thought he was a bit wet behind the ears for a regular backup spot.

Fcking shite news on Howard. That back 5 looked unbeatable. Even more pressure on the front end now.
