Keeper?
As we now only have Alwick with first team experience plus the youngsters Turner and little Jussi will we be allowed to bring in an experienced keeper? Then again can we afford to bring anyone in if allowed to?
I feel reborn !!!! No more confussion

Re: Keeper?
Isn't this 'emergency loan' business no longer an actual thing?
May the bridges I burn light your way
Re: Keeper?
From memory it's hugely reduced. Don't think we could do it unless and until Alnwick got injured, and even then only if no-one else had played more than about 2 games of senior football.

Re: Keeper?
'Emergency loan' was the name of any loan not window-to-window - so the ones that maxed at 93 days. They were indeed ended this year.
Not sure if you're still allowed an actual emergency loan of the old kind - all your goalkeepers have lost their hands in freak gardening accidents – but I'm sure that at the very least you'd have to prove a dire, dire emergency. I don't think they'll be doling them out to clubs with a Ben Alnwick, who's a fully-grown man with a daft beard to prove it. If he shredded a tendon trying to catch a falling bottle of aftershave, we might have a case.
Just let the kid sit on the bench, I say, and stop panic-fannying.
