When it was called the fecking Fat Duck or some-such, we'd start our night out there on the grounds that the night could only get better. :)

Finished it with a cheese pie barm from Bolton Supper Bar. Is that still going?

It's been shut donkeys years! Our nights out used to end there with chips, steak and kidney pie, with gravy. Lashings of gravy!

We'd take turns doing an after work run to the Supper Bar when I worked at Chester Moonshines. Great chippy. Never went in the Trotters much.

The Duck and Firkin as I remember it. Microwaved pies were the only lunch option. Supper bar takes me back and probably also gone (?) The Patagonian cafe further up

It was indeed the D&F before it chanced its arm by rebranding as The Trotters (well, it worked for us).

Personally my end-of-night Supper Bar snack of choice was a potato pie barm – the triple carb. Take that, The Government.
