Not the sort of stadium to reach 90 minutes before kickoff. Oh well. Not raining.

Thinking Trotter (who Parky seems to rate) must be injured. That said, Thorpe seems a better option in the side. Ten to go and we'll soon know. Frosty Saturday in Bolton. What's it like down there, anybody?

Anyway the cat's whisker is tuned in and we're ready to go. Half the pitch in sunshine micman tells us. Let's hope it doesn't blind our keeper. Officals in yellow, and a ball to match (just thought you might like to know that) . A bit of to and fro but it goes back to their keeper. Beevers heads clear and a name or two I'm not even trying to pronounce as the homers passit around. Sammi goes foraging and we get a throw. Wilson long but cleared. Beever manhandling the homers (they claim). They come visiting via Matt Taylor (yes him) and some more tip and tap and Spearing clears but we can't capitalise. They get a cross in and Buchannan tries a bike kick. Keeper saves easy enough and back they come again. Now us, not them, and Spearing clears. Vela fouls a cobbler and they get a free kick. And.....Cornell? sends it downfield. Beevers clears but back they come. Ameobi can't take advantage and then Thorpe, Vela and Spearing go. Ameobi and Vela...Spearing and...a goal kick them.

Now Cloughie goes and takes on three but slips. Beevers finds Taylor....now Ameobi finds Zac but they clerar. Again our front men go and Wilson sends one in.....ohh, Madine nodded it down for Sammi to get a shot away but the keeper took it. Throw them halfway but Vela goes and Madie gets handballed. Plenty noise from the fans then Wilson almost allowed a soft one and then a fas break hitd our post. Careful lads, corner us now and... and the pressure is on and.....Spearing lashes one over the bar....

Cobblers sally but we clear. Taylor (Matt) sets one up and an effort goes over our bar. Madine and ????? have a tussle then Vela grets his shirt dragged and we get a free kick. Spearing and......ohh. they clear off a defender and it end up a throw us. Another throw and.....Taylor and Madine and....another throw us. And, same again and again. Taylor again and....and....Wilson, Derik, Clough, Taylor.....Vela and a shot is cleared. Madine is off balance and his header is well wide.
Free kick them now against Vela and...Beevers heads clear. Throw us and Taylor and..Madine and cleared to Vela and Madine gets dragged about to no avail. Vela clears, they send it back and come again and....Hoskins hits a 25 yarder but the keeper has it.

Sammi wins a throw and.....Vela and Wilson hit a poor ball back and they grab it and Thorpe manages to clear. Throw them now and...Matt Taylor tries again. Madine havin a rough time against the cobblers back liners and ...we get a free kick in our half. Ends with their keeper and cleared. Shef and Scun still goalless we hear, then they try another long ranger that sails over from 40? yards.

Missed nothing as we went to Bury, then we go through Sammi, Thorpe, Derik, Spearing....they clear, we do the same and go again......Spearing tried a trot forth but they cleared. Fans have a sing, Madine wins a throw and Taylor launches to Vela and.....it's 1-0 via Clough :oyea:

Throw them now as play resumes and....we break via Vela, Wilson, Thorpe, Spearing, Sammi.....etc,etc....and Vela cn't find support and we get a throw...Ameobi, Clough, a shot that's well over. Madine is getting assaulted and battered and getting nothing says micman. Beevers now and back to Alnwick. We get it back and Clough goes and......Madine can't reach the cross. Apparently, plenty faithful have got down there and are making themselves known to the homers. Another before the break lads....Sammi does well and away he goes but passes badly. Throw to them and..Spearing steps in and Beevers clears. Goal kick them and.....they sally at us and win a throw. Alnwick takes over and rolls it out to Beevers. They win it and Matt Taylor comes again and....we get a throw. Spearing and Taylor, and Zac attacks. We win a throw again and Thorpe and Beevers clear and Sammi ges dummied .....and....Sheffield go one up. Scun still goalless.

The tall one up front and Matt Taylor get one between them that ends up in the car park....we are told.... :)

Now, Beevers clears and Clough and Sammi try but the Cobblers clear and some ping pong sees them get a corner....Matt Taylor and.....cleared but comes again and our Taylor clears. Back they come and.....Scunny go one up and.....Spearing and Zac go hunting down the left. Sammi now, Vela, and.....a bit of silence from the box then....we go to Bury....yeah...

Come on lads, another before the break would be lovely. Homers sally at us but it dies out. Madine finds Vela, Taylor sends on in,...And Zac sends one past a post. Sun sliding out of sight and the lights come on.....Some to and fro and a throw to us.... They clear and then back we come. Taylor, Beevers, and we decide to let Alnwick have a touch. Wilso, Spearing Ameobi, Thorpe.....us, them, them, us....and Wilson knocks it out. Matt Taylor visits. Sammi has it and we feed Zac who brings Sammi in. Half time approaches (can't say lemon, too many already) and the homers have a sniff. Sammi clears, Derik sends one to Madine and the keeper sends it out of play. Spearing, Beevers, they recover it and win a throw.....Derik cocks one up then they have it in their half. Spearing almost slips up and.....they break and Revell, luckily, just can't reach Taylor's cross. 1-0 to us at the break..

Homers will know that one behind is redeemable but if we get another...hope we don't go defensive toatally, makes for a nervy Part Two which starts......now...Come on Lads, get in there. 70018 crowd announced ( 1264 White's faithful) as play commences. Off and they make a quick break and attack. We recover it and Sammi, Spearing and Thorpe....who make a poor pass. Throw us now and...some back and forth before Vela, Wilson and ....ends up with Alnwick. Throw them now and Madine can't conreol and they wallop it forth and have a break on.... that becomes a corner. And....it goes wide.

Throw us now, Vela, Amneobi, Taylor and...Matt Taylor clears for a throw. Wilson and.....now Sammi....and we get a throw.
Wilson and...short to Vela, slips and the throw goes to them. Beevers sends the clearance back and we go again and.....we get a corner. Come on.......and....Spearing and.....we get one on the opposite side. Spearing again and.....and....Beevers flicks it but it's cleared. Buchanan almost gets in there and they end up with a corner. Homers getting urged on as they make a sub with names unknown to me. Richards on....apparently....Corner now, Taylor and Anderson hits the post but we get a free kick for a foul on Sammi. Big one and....Madine tries but Thorpe gets it. Madine goes down ....gets back up....and it's al happening. Throw us, Madine....a throw them. Hoskins, ,Matt Taylor (who is getting far too much ball). We go via Zac and Madine, Vela goes forth, Matt Tylor has it again and.....Derik clears. They come again and.....it'd Sounding like they are having more of the ball right now?

Throw them near our corner flag, Taylor sends it in, we clear then.....they get a throw off Sammi. And.....Bury no score we are informed.....meanwhile....Oxfor and Scunny still level. Fands sing out as we get a corner. Cleared and sent forth. They have a couple of passes, Ameobi sends a purler of a pass and Zac is offside........Throw them now and.....now one to us. Wilson launches, Sammi flicks on, they knock it out. Their keeper sends it forth and it starts up again. They get a cross in, Spearing beats Taylor...but we get held up. We go again via Thorpe.....to Spearing, back to Alnwick, they clear and break. Taylors cross is headed out by Derik for a corner. Spearing clears, back they come and.....it's offside......whew. They netted and we got out of jail
